To be able to use certain touchscreen features while driving, you will need a video-in-motion bypass harness. AFAIK, that is hard coded in there and cannot be changed with FORScan. Naviks makes one for $200, but it does require partially taking apart the dash to access the APIM to install it.
Lmk if you notice any difference in the behavior. More changes may be needed if this alone doesn't work, but it was the first thing that stood out to me that made sense.
Not really, because the OP's question has not been addressed. I don't own one of these cars, but from reading through the thread, it seems like the lane centering/keeping functions differ between the manual and automatic transmission vehicles. If that is the case, then it is a matter of...

We think the problem is TRON. FORScan can't program TRON encrypted modules. That can only be done with FDRS. Livnitup was going to connect him with someone he knows in the UAE that can maybe help. Hopefully they got it resolved.
Got it....I think I understand the problem; I just don't know how to fix it. Again, it is possible the module got hard-bricked and cannot be fixed.
I tagged a few people on your post. Hopefully they can provide some useful information.
Ok good.....so you got good files.
Is the module getting power and is just not showing up on the network, or is it not getting power?
I wish I could be more of help. Tbh, I have not seen many people on this forum with the knowledge you are seeking. Even though you don't have an F150, I would...
Did you let FORScan pull the vbf files from Ford on its own, or did you source the files and bootloader from someone? You cannot count on FORScan to pull the correct files or even all of the files. If the PSCM is hard-bricked, as far as I know, there is nothing you can do but replace the entire...
He probably doesn't have one in Saudi Arabia. Ford blocks people from accessing FDRS in his region which means people are forced to do things like this when they need to fix something. Because of this, I have some empathy for people that get stuck in these types of predicaments in markets not...
Try disconnecting the negative cable from the 12v battery for 30 minutes to fully de-energize the module and see if it picks it up after you reconnect the battery and rescan it.
No, they don't. Due to the way the OTA process works, the vehicle needs to be turned on in order for it to ping the server and accept the OTA trigger. Depending on the type of OTA it is, an OTA trigger is good for either 14 days or 30 days. If the vehicle is not turned on within that window, the...
I guess it depends on the person. You can argue that someone purchasing a used car would want it to be untouched. If I were to buy a used Ford of some kind and it had some FORScan changes, it would not bother me one bit.
I'll tell you what: Whoever ends up with my F150 is going to be very...
This is not always a good idea. Some module updates can contain config changes that Ford meant to send that you would be reverting back by doing this.
The truth is, there is no real reason to revert FORScan changes. If I wanted to, I know everything I changed and I can change it back by doing...
No, it will not be a true "as-built" file once the changes you make are synced up to the mothership.
In the module config page, if you did not make any changes to any of the blocks and click write all, FORScan will pull the ab from Ford directly.
Nothing wrong with getting a copy of your ab data as it is before you start making changes, but keep in mind that if you scroll to the bottom of the module config page in FORScan, you will see this "write all" button there. All you have to do is click that and FORScan will pull the ab data for...
You need the PCM strategy file name. You can probably use the tuner to get it, but if you're unsure how to do it, message me the VIN and I'll get it for you.
Known issue. Disconnect the negative cable from your 12v battery for 20 minutes. Check for updates again and it will make it past the spinning pinwheel.
