Interesting. Most reviewers seem to think the SS1LE handles night and day better than both the S550 and S650, with the S550 and S650 being pretty close.
The main thing I've noticed so far about the S650 vs my S550 is the quicker steering. Now that I've upgraded the wheels and tires and added...
Some pics with the new wheels and tires after installation of the Steeda magneride sport progressive springs. The drop seems consistent with the 0.8" described on Steeda's website. I think I'm pretty well done with mods for awhile, except I need a splitter.
Having owned both the S550 and the S650, these arguments about the screens, etc. have gotten old. The biggest disappointment to me is Ford didn't introduce a new chassis and set the S650 further apart from the S550, especially when considering the price.

Yes. 😄 Not really. I also wanted flush fitment without spacers, a bit wider wheels (especially in front), and a rotatable setup. So I went with 19x10 on all four.
I'm sure that's the case although I've seen some subtle differences among the various options. I just need to make sure I get one that's compatible with the performance pack splitter.
