If I get one it will be a GT probably MY26. I'd change the grille, and by then hopefully there should be some clean looking options. Tint would be the first thing but I do that with all my cars.

The S650 GT looks nice from this angle. It hides the busy grille and looks more muscular than the S550. However, the only thing that looks more "modern" imo, is the headlights.

I agree it looks more muscular, which is a reversal of the direction the S550 took from the S197. The new Nissan Z has a similar look with no lines or creases on the sides. Is this really a "modern" design, though, or do these things just go in cycles? :)

The DB9 looks so much better than any of those. BTW, the Fusion with the Ashton nose came a few years later.

Oh, I love the look of Astons, too, but Ford could have done something a little different with the grille. 🙂

Not a big surprise to me. My first impression of the S550 was it looked a lot like an Aston Martin. I think it was a main reason many Mustang purists didn't like the styling when it was initially released. When the dust settles I agree 500 vs 520 is probably not going to make much of a difference. However, the Dark Horse is not a Bullitt or a Mach 1. Ford chose a whole new name for a supposedly new generation. It makes some sense that expectations were raised.

Are you sure about the GT350? It has analog gauges. :)

If I was seriously considering a GT500, the Dark Horse wouldn't even be on my radar. Mach 1 vs. GT350 vs. Dark Horse would be reasonable to consider.

With most colors I've seen I like the body color decklid panel, but black might look better on the white car. Or maybe it just needs a black spoiler.

I guess I don't get the design of the GT upper grille. It looks like the bottom part is not supposed to be showing but it shows because the grille doesn't fit in the opening. 🙂
