Personally I wouldn't rule anything out. I just don't think this is our GT500, it doesn't look like the full package yet. I could be wrong though - I don't know what Ford is planning to do with this car.
So just so we're clear, the best way to break in your new sports car... is to drive it?! 😮
Jokes aside, congratulations on the new Mustang, and allegedly going a few MPH over the limit. I hear that there's a great driving companion named "Uniden R8", not sure what it does exactly but I...
2024 Dark Horse...
2026 Dark Horse Midnight?
2028 Dark Horse Midnight BlackHoof edition??
2030 Shadowquestrian???
Ford, please, don't use these ideas, they're terrible. But if you do, can you send me a check?
Genuine question - are you joking, or are you being serious? I'm not trying to take the piss - I genuinely don't understand why, if this is an RTR collaboration, that they would put Pirelli P Zero Rs on. Wouldn't they use something else?
That said I have no idea what kind of tires would be used...
I think it looks pretty sweet. Strikes me as a replacement for the Ice White package that was on the 2022-23 S550. It might look really good with the car painted Oxford White.
I probably wouldn't buy this package, but I'd definitely grab the new taillights off of FP's catalog.
This new color -...
With a new Hi-Po variant coming, I'd like to believe the Dark Horse will be produced for 2026, and then get phased out - akin to what happened when the GT500 was released. Part of me doesn't believe that the more advanced of the two prototypes we saw in the last month is going to be the Cobra...
HUGE EDIT: I thought you were someone else. My mistake!
The last 8 digits in the VIN number represent, in this order:
1: Year
2: Factory Code
3-8: Vehicle serial
The last 8 digits of VIN numbers for F150s are either xFxxxxxx, xKxxxxxx, or in the case of the Lightning, xWxxxxxx:
- F represents...
Sorry... which ones? Last I checked the Lightning, some XLTs and Lariats, and anything higher are manufactured in Dearborn, and the rest are manufactured in Kansas...
I don't personally think that Ford would advertise the car as being able to run on 87 if it wasn't designed and extensively tested to do so. My understanding is that 93 is the correct fuel, but they can all take 87. Whether you should give 87 or 93 is a different topic to the engine being able...
Yeah, this is just about exactly what I'm seeing. I think we've got something good here if this is cohesive and the changes aren't just limited to the front-end of the car. We shall see soon enough.
Looks like - compared to the GT - the front black grille insert has been removed, and there's gonna be a much taller air inlet on both sides. Tarps do a good job of hiding the structure of these prototypes, but this looks pretty well-sculpted.
The hood has a lot of padding. I'm willing to...
Here in Michigan, we have signs along most major interstates that explicitly instruct you to stay out of the left lane unless you're passing every few miles.
Unfortunately not many people have very good reading comprehension. I've had a couple of people try to argue with me when I wanted to...
93 here is on average $1.25 more than 87, encroaching on $5/gallon in some places.
If you're not paying something egregious ($10+), I'd just buy the full tank of premium and call it a week.
