The title basically says it all. I'm not a fan of the fake carbon interior trim and wanted to see if anyone knows if there is anything on the way from the aftermarket to replace it. I hate that Ford doesn't even give you another choice from the factory. I would pay to replace it as an option...
Have they announced when ordering begins? I'm curious to see how much is optional versus standard on the package, and when the parts will be available for those that already have cars or don't want to order the entire package.
I had a Ford Edge rental a while back and I found the touch screen climate controls infuriating. I was able to use voice control to set the temperature, but I could never get it to control the fan speed. Is this something you can do with the Mustang?
I'm pretty sure they liked the Mach 1 and GT350, and other reviewers that liked those said the steering isn't good in the 24. I'm with you though--the Supra and Z just don't do anything for me. I sat in a Supra at the auto show and the view out was like a submarine. I would rather have an NA...
I haven't driven a 24 yet, but I never had an issue with my 2015. Did the steering feel like a Lotus Elise or an Alfa 4C? No, but I never felt like I didn't know what the grip was like at the front end. Maybe the 24 is somehow worse? I don't know...
I can't answer your question, but I was surprised when I watched a video on the S650 and there was no access panel or anything in the under tray. I wonder how much all of that under body stuff weighs?
I’d love to know what Ford’s internal forecasts for the S650 are. When you compare it to the last new generation, S650 sales are down quite a bit from the S550 when it was new. The data I found showed that sales for the 2018 refresh, while lower than 2015 sales, were still higher than S650...
There’s no excuse for the steering feel when the Mach 1 was never hit with the same criticism. Also, seeing the real carbon fiber in the Supra’s interior makes the fake carbon in the Mustang look so much worse than it already did. Come on, Ford!
It seems like most reviewers are saying that there's no steering feel whatsoever, which is disappointing considering that the GT350 and Mach 1 didnt have the same complaints. Hopefully Ford can address this.
Outside of that, yeah, it's a bigger, heavier car than the other two. If you're...
These pictures really illustrate why I think the S650 GT is begging for a more aggressive front splitter! That looks SO MUCH better than the stock unit, regardless of whether its carbon or not.
I don’t mind touch screens for stuff you aren’t using all the time, but there’s absolutely no excuse for putting climate controls on a touchscreen. I personally find them incredibly annoying no matter how responsive the screen is. It was incredibly easy to adjust the temperature in an S550 just...
Yeah, I can't imagine you can put that power down very well anywhere outside of a prepped track, and even then you likely better be on the right tires.
I was wondering that as well. I was curious to see how it compares to the release of the S550, so I looked it up and it looks like Mustang sales were 9,511 in December of 2014, but again, I assume that's ALL Mustang sales, not just S550 sales. The article did say, however, that it was a 66%...
Is this the Air Design front splitter at the 7:41 mark in this video? If so, I think it looks great!
Sorry, I don't know how to properly embed the video.
