If you plan to enjoy the car and keep it long term and not modify it, I would opt for the longest warranty that you can afford. I got 8 year / 100,000 miles PremiumCare warranty on mine. It seemed worth it for me since I plan on keeping this vehicle for a while and not modifying it. Plus, the...
As long as it's not like the cam phaser rattle in the 2nd gen 3.5 Ecoboost, which Ford says "it's fine", but will still offer to replace them with upgraded cam phasers if under warranty or let you pay out of pocket 🙄 It made the truck sound like a diesel under a cold start.
Thanks for the additional info. That would explain why the lane keep assist or lane centering assist, whatever you want to call it, doesn't work as well in my vehicle (6MT) as it does in the Odyssey, where it jerks the steering wheel to help center the vehicle in the lane.
This song gave me a lot of bass, granted, I had the volume up to 15. I had the equalizer reset, didn't touch it, and had the sound set to stereo, not surround. But yea, it seems like less than 15, the subwoofer isn't doing much, at least in the cabin area.
Remember folks, depending on your transmission (auto vs manual) and rear axle ratios (3.15 vs 3.55 vs 3.73) will also affect your gas mileage, maybe not as much as your right foot, but for sure plays a role in your MPG. For me, 6-speed manual, 3.73 gears, in 6th gear at 60 MPH, I think I get...
Looks good! Mine came with the bronze package and I love it. I do hate that Ford cheapen out and didn't put a plague or whatever you call it on the strut bar for the Mustangs that came with the Performance Pack 😡
2017 Ford F-150s with the 2nd generation 3.5 EcoBoost came with the 1st generation of the 10 speed (yea, confusing, I know). I would say 95% of the time, the transmission was fine. The other 5%... 🤬
Yea... I think the article is a bit lacking/uninformed in that section, granted this was published Sept 2022. I don't foresee how WITHOUT magneride, the vehicle would be able to have pothole mitigation. The Performance Pack does NOT include magneride, however, I believe the Dark Horse...
Definitely love having the option, granted, this is my first Mustang, so I can't really say how it compares to one without the feature. I can tell/feel the difference between Sport mode and Normal mode.
I've driven manuals ever since I got my learner's permit. Until I was able to purchase my own vehicle, my daily driver was a manual. The first car I bought was a manual. Every vehicle after that was a manual... until I got a 2017 F-150 with the first generation 10 speed. Bought the truck new and...
My 2015 Mazda6 had this feature. The Mazda6 was also a manual. The first time I encountered it, I thought my brakes were stuck 😂
On a plus note, this is sort of a good feature for people who have never driven a manual before. I remember learning how to drive a manual without this feature when I...
Yea, I would concur. I kindly asked my salesman/dealer to kindly remove their logo off of the rear of my vehicle. It interferes with the symmetry (and my OCD) of the back end.
Congrats on the ride!
I would find it hard to believe that different exhaust modes would interfere with your gas mileage. If anything, it's most likely due to the top being down. If I set my cruise to 55-60 MPH and leave the vehicle in 6th gear with 3.73 rears, I can get up to 22 MPG. Haven't...
I'm normally not crazy about convertibles, but yours sir is gorgeous, especially with the choice of colors and wheels! Nice spec. Out of curiosity, auto or manual?
