Here is the link, granted, this will disappear after the vehicle is sold:

Therefore, here are the screenshots of the manual transmission with the Auto S/S button below:
I know in slippery mode, the throttle response is reduced to help the driver avoid giving it too much throttle and causing the rear wheels to break traction. I believe it has also been noted somewhere (can't remember if it was on this forum or a YouTube video), that when the vehicle is in track...
Not disagreeing to that, however, the direct injection on the F-150 sounded the same as it did on a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt SS turbocharged engine that was direct injection only.
Nah, it's slightly there in the manual. I wonder if what you're feeling is similar to what I felt, in regards to the throttle response, in the 2017 Ford F-150 (traded in towards Mustang) that had the 10-speed auto. One of the reasons I got the Mustang. I missed driving a manual.
Yeah, I would say there is a slight delay (especially with everything going electronic instead of wire). The only vehicle I can remember that didn't was a first-generation Toyota Tacoma.
Sorry, should have clarified. If I close the hood, I can't hear the noise 😂
But... to your case in point, yes. Gotta hear the engine. I know I'm physically getting older, but my mind doesn't seem to be keeping up with the pace and if anything, is going backwards towards when I was younger. I...
So... for whatever reason, I decided to pop the hood after driving my car some. Yep. I have the same sound from the same area of the engine bay. However, if I close the hood, I can't hear it.
Per the typical car meme, if I can't hear the unusual noise, then just roll on as if everything is fine 😂
Sorry for the late reply. I came across this a few days after taking ownership.
Edit: I just went out and wiped the area with a microfiber cloth and can confirm Ford fixed it. Looking at the bill, it was $1400-$1600 to fix this. They removed the entire panel to do this and I can tell because...
I'm curious to see what kind of deals people can get from "custom orders" (i.e. Performance Package, Active Exhaust, Magneride, etc.). I was able to shave a few hundred dollars off my window sticker and get a few more hundred dollars for my trade-in at the end of December, but my dealer wasn't...
Valid points. Not sure I quite understand the "overpriced" part unless you mean paying over sticker.
Valid point as well. I did forget about the whole supply and demand. However, I am curious to see what will truly happen. My dealership has kept a few of the same Mustangs for a few months...
^ This. As exhausting as it may be, I have an agent that checks multiple insurances to see which is the most cost-effective. I've switched at least 3-4 times in the last 10 years to save money on insurance.
^ 100% THIS!
GM recently pushed out a "bad update" that caused a lot of their vehicle owners to wake up to dead batteries. Apparently, the software update left the infotainment system constantly running and drained the battery. Source: Fix For 2023 Chevy Colorado Battery Discharge After Update (gmauthority.com)
I feel like this is backwards, at least for the Mustangs. With summer approaching, Ford knows they'll sell a lot of Mustangs. I mean, a Mustang can be an all season vehicle, but lets be honest, most buyers will be looking to get a Mustang for the upcoming spring/summer season.
One thing I have...
Not to threadjack, but I wonder if there is a price difference between the EcoBoost and the Coyote. I know when I was talking with my insurance agent, she had me clarify if it was a Mustang or Mustang GT. Of course, providing the VIN will validate which one it is.
Skye has hit some solid points. Auto and home insurance has just gone through the roof since the pandemic in general (personal opinion). Definitely shop around and keep in mind insurance rates are based off the area you live in as well as what you choose for your deductibles...
