I think mine had less than 30 miles. By the time I bought it, I think I was up to 70 miles (the dealer let me drive it home to show the wife before purchase). 3 months later and 2,000+ miles... no issues. Not to be an ass, but I think some of you are overreacting a bit about how many miles come...
I stand corrected 🙂 Wi-Fi can help and based on Ford's website, some updates may only be available after being connected to Wi-Fi.
I found this site quite useful: https://www.ford.com/support/how-tos/ford-technology/software-updates-general-information/software-update-faqs/
Everyone, if you're talking about the date at the bottom, underneath the box that has "This label is affixed pursuant of the Federal Automobile...", that date is pulled from when you visited the site for your window sticker. How do I know? I have pulled multiple window stickers (and this...
To answer your question, magneride is solely locked to whatever mode you put it in. So, really, the modes should just say (at least for the magneride equipped ones), how do you want the suspension. After that, you can tune the steering, exhaust, and traction control. The only thing I’ve honestly...
Sorry, I'd have to defer to someone who has done the update as mine is supposedly already running the latest version. Can anyone chime in on this? In my previous Ford vehicle (2017 F-150 with Sync 3), updates could take anywhere from 10-20 minutes.
I believe that's just standard with the FordPass app. Also, that's using GPS. I've found it useful when dropping my vehicle off for maintenance or what not. I can check the mileage as well as make sure there isn't some hooning (think of the movie, Ferris Bueller's Day Off)
Yes, you must be connected to your home Wi-Fi or a hotspot (wouldn't recommend this method).
Update: I just checked mine. I picked up my Mustang GT at the end of December (October build date) and I guess it's running the latest seeing as it's the 23206, 959. Sucks because I was hoping for a fix...
In the past, both were touted to help with MPG. Not disagreeing with what you said though as I know that's the reasoning. Just saying, from a marketing standpoint, that was their original selling line. A.S.S. - Auto Start Stop

I also had a slight tear in the headliner. Just got the vehicle back a few days ago. They replaced the entire headliner and fixed the paint issue on the rear driver side fender. However, will have to take...
Coming from an F-150, the steering wheel feel in this is night/day difference, in a positive way. I'll have to pay more attention to this the next time I drive down the interstate.
Concur with dfwford's post above. My previous Ford had A.S.S. on it and did not personally care for it.
Not to derail the thread, but I learned a few things from my 2017 F-150. After 80,000 miles, I hardly noticed any improved gas mileage from the front air dam skirt, A.S.S, or the tonneau...
When you say float, do you mean as in the tires themselves feeling as if there is not enough downforce on the front tires for grip at highway speeds or are you referring to the steering wheel feeling floaty?
If it's the steering wheel itself, feeling floaty, I've read/watch reviews commenting...
Can't wait to see if this gets pushed with an OTA update or if it'll be something that the customer can go, and request be done on their vehicle during a scheduled maintenance.
Then again, I am glad that my vehicle didn't come with Auto Start/Stop. I personally feel that the whole gas guzzler...
So, I thought this was a joke. Nope. My previous vehicle, 2017 Ford F-150 that I purchased new with less than 100 miles, experienced the "swelling" by 80,000 miles. When I took the vehicle to Ford's QuickLane for an oil change and tire rotation, they declined to rotate the tires because they...
