Yeah I had also bought a fully loaded S550 EB in 2017. I didn't qualify for any incentives, but I was able to negotiate several thousand off the sticker price (I believe my price was $31K as well before taxes/fees).
And that's also assuming you can snag a decent interest rate. That's what will really hurt a lot of prospective buyers.
In 2018, it wasn't unheard of to get 0% financing with a bit of shopping around, and 3-4% financing was the normal for average credit.
That's another reason, BTW, why think...
I wouldn't doubt it.
Personally, at the pricing levels Ford has set, I'd rather get a fully loaded GT than a bare bones DH (especially since it will be easier to get a discount for it).
Not sure about the DH or X-Plan, but I did confirm with a few different dealers that they would be willing to do the A/Z plan for the GT, which is what I intend to use (my grandfather retired from Ford).
Take my comment for what little it's worth...
Right! :cwl:
Not to speak for others, but I suspect anyone who is dead set on owning a Mustang (notorious gas guzzlers) isn't *TOO* concerned about their carbon emissions, lol...
So if my math is correct, that's a roughly 6% increase from MY2023
Seems a bit steep IMO, although with the rate of inflation & supply chain problems (not to mention it being a new generation model), it could have been worse.
What worries me now is the option pricing, lol...
EDIT: Was...
Don't forget having to deal with the dealer trying to upsell you the entire time, and having to work around their schedule to get the information you want.
So yeah, it's far from an ideal situation for us customers, lol...
Dealers in DFW are notorious for their ridiculous markups. So I'm not surprised.
But the great part about living in Dallas is that we have a very big and well-connected airport where we can hop on a quick direct flight to just about any destination, making it easy to purchase a vehicle at a...
I mean, from an operational standpoint, Ford is kind of a dumpster fire right now if you've been watching the news and employee forums.
So to be honest, just missed dates being the worst outcome for our launch would be a miracle.
I get it, I really do. Ford could and should do a much better job with communicating this information to their dealers.
That said, @Blueberrystang2000 made it clear that not only are those dates on FMCDealer supposed to be dealer confidential (specifically because they know it would make...
Still, I would like to be able to explore the options & pricing at my own pace before placing an order.
It seems until that's available, you will have to sit down with a sales person at a dealer and have them guide you on their time/speed, while also hoping they don't try to upsell you in the...
Not to be that guy, but a part of me worries the news in this broadcast won't be good.
If it were, there would be leaks by now, and FMCDealer would also be updated.
