  1. Center console gear select No illumination w automatic Trans?

    That's TMI, @Farmer Fran. TMI ...
  2. OTA Updates I’m still on 6.2.0

If they want Ford to cover it under warranty, they HAVE to follow explicit instructions, they HAVE to be able to confirm the condition exists and/or replicate the issue, and they can't color outside of the lines. If they do, they aren't getting reimbursed under warranty. I have found that, if...
  3. Need Sirius/XM

Agree. From the ford.com build site for 2025:
  4. Need Sirius/XM

I like SiriusXM because I listen to a lot of talk radio during my ~2 hours of daily commute time. I only listen to music when I get tired of the talking heads. I've been a SiriusXM subscriber since before Sirius and XM merged. That said, the SiriusXM receiver that's in the vehicle seems to be...
  5. Late build 24...with 25 options

While it does provide basic information about the vehicle (e.g,. tire pressures, oil life, etc.), I use it mostly for starting my vehicles remotely. I have the FordPass app on my Galaxy Watch, too, so I can start it from there as well.
  6. Will Kenny Brown Jacking Rails and Steeda IRS Subframe Braces Work Together?

Looking at pics I found online for Kenny Brown jacking rails, they don't look any different than my Steeda jacking rails relative to shape or size. I'd say no issues.
  7. Engine air filter possible issue? High flow air filters

For normal, everyday driving, there's no appreciable difference, no tangible benefit, but (obviously) increased risks when using an aftermarket air filter. Save your money.
  8. Gear indicator on A10 automatic....

My '21 F150 Platinum has the gear indicators in the dash between the speedo and tach. The up/down on the shift handle will grey out the gears so the truck won't operate in them.
  9. OTA Updates I’m still on 6.2.0

Most dealerships will NOT do this unless they are updating firmware related to a repair that either you are paying for or is covered under warranty. Even with that, most will ONLY update those modules related to the work they are getting paid for. It can sometimes take hours upon hours to do...
  10. Need Sirius/XM

While it's no replacement for build-in SiriusXM, whenever I drive vehicles that I don't own that don't have SiriusXM, I use the SiriusXM app on my phone and connect it to the vehicle via Bluetooth / AA. If you have a SiriusXM subscription for another vehicle, you can stream on the phone or...
  11. FITCAMX Dashcam now available for the S650!

Many dashcam hardwire kits include a box that monitors voltage and shuts off power to the camera if the vehicle battery falls below a programmed number.
  12. Cheap temporary inner fender hole solution

What's a bridge? You mean a car jack? I know about boots, dynamos, and bonnets, but not bridges.
  13. Has anyone ordered a 60th Anniversary Mustang yet?

I already explained this (after reaching out to the aerodynamics engineer for the S650) long ago in another thread.
  14. Late build 24...with 25 options

I've has those for a long time. Firmware updates brought them to the 24s.
  15. Parking Brake Concern (What happens if the electronics fail)

This. I use it religiously, but I often forget to disengage it before I take off. It always releases. I've had this style of parking brake on quite a few vehicles - never had any issue where it would get stuck/fail and/or not release. I'd be more worried about what you'd do if a cable-driven...
  16. Is it possible to turn off the Steering Wheel Sensor?

FYI: It's NOT looking for a grip (pressure) on the steering wheel. It's looking for a slight movement of the wheel (clockwise or ccw). You can turn off the nag by subscribing to and using Bluecruise. If you're truck is not equipped with BC, the you can't disable the nag unless you disable lane...
  17. Oil filter access panel mod

With a cordless ratchet, it takes me less than a minute to get the full panel off. Useful mod, though.
