  1. Tire pressure & temperatures in main display

My BMW (M car) would display the temperatures, very handy when tracking the car. I'm looking forward to hearing of a Ford solution.
  2. Does anyone have any experience with transporters?

95% of car tranports* go through brokers. They will give you free no obligation quotes, but usually afterwards they'll tell you that they can't find anyone and you'll need to raise your offer. Who they get is a random choice from a shipping message board, regardless of what they may tell you...
  3. NV Cleanse and Nourish Leather Care Products

Wow. I gotta say, this reads an awful lot like a promotion from the manufacturer and/or reseller. Lots of words, great photographs. I'll assume that it's not and you are just a helpful chap with a lot of free time. Automotive leather is treated (some would say painted) to be very...
  4. Hard water stains on windshield

I've got a whole bunch of miracle cleaners and protection products that really don't do much for me. The more effective it is, generally speaking, the harsher the chemicals. IMHO. Water spots fall into several categories, including (as mentioned earlier in the thread) the residual minerals...
  5. What is everyone using to clean your screen?

I have heard anecdotally that using window cleaners (which usually contain alcohol and/or amonia) will cause touch screens to become less sensitive. Ford recommends using only water to clean the screens, so that's what I do. Water and a nice microfiber.
  6. Car forgets settings

No, I haven't. Can't find the button. Oh wait, I don't have memory seats! I didn't realize that this was happening to other folks as well. I guess that's a little consolation... However, this also happened to me during a gym trip, perhaps that's the issue? We're too fit? I...
  7. Creating custom mode confusion

That's a good question. I could go into all of the rationalization that got me here, but it's probably easier, now that I own the car, to compare the two. I had a G82 (latest gen) M4 (2 door) manual (3 pedals) purchased new. I now have a S650 Dark Horse manul purchased slightly (400 miles)...
  8. Moving A 2024 GT In Neutral?

You could run an adequate (10?) gauge wire from the positive battery post to the trunk, and then use that and any decent ground to jump it off if needed. Not much weight, don't have to remember to leave it in neutral, etc. If you don't take it out often (which I'm guessing you don't in the...
  9. Possible to turn off the Infotainment screen?

This. It doesn't turn it off, but it certainly does reduce the amount of stuff and brightness.
  10. Car forgets settings

Now, I'm coming back to Ford after a Cadillac and many BMWs. The Caddy was bad about forgetting personalized settings and some of the BMWs would occasionally do things like forget my phone (I'd have to set up the bluetooth again). Now I'm running up on this in the Mustang. I hopped in the car...
  11. Carpe Diem!

In my experience as a frequent car flipper, option packages and especially aftermarket (I consider RTR aftermarket) enhancements do little to nothing to help with trade-in value. Where they do pay off is if you sell the car yourself... you still won't get back a decent percentage of what you...
  12. Creating custom mode confusion

It does, but you can't change it! It's based on whichever starting point you select. It's not a big deal, I guess i got spoiled by BMW. On M cars you have two steering wheel buttons that be configured in just about any permutation you can dream up, including brake pedal sensitivity. My...
  13. Creating custom mode confusion

Yes. But that kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it?
  14. Creating custom mode confusion

The owner's manual hardly says anything about this. I'd like, for example, have a mode with sport suspension but normal steering. Can't do it. You have to pick a "starting point" like normal or sport or track but then when you do, you cannot change the suspension or steering from what the...
  15. Cage, Seats and Harness Installed

Well, I was just going from personal observations, not from anything else. Plus, it's been well over 20 years since I've been at Roebling, and cars are a lot faster now, and street tires are much more capable. 20 years, wow. Can I be that old?
  16. Fair warning Steeda so called premium clamps ...🙄

I wrote: See what Kyle wrote on page 4. That's how you do it, TJ.
  17. Cage, Seats and Harness Installed

Sweet, thanks! Sorry about your incident, I've spent many, many enjoyable hours at Roebling and I've gone off at 5 I think, and seen others go off at the carousel and in 3, but never have I seen or heard of anyone going off at 9. Ouch. BTW, you probably hit hard enough to set off the sensors...
  18. Strange sound from brake pedal + brake noise

I'll suggest that the brake noise is normal, that's just the sound that performance pads make when engaging and releasing. The pedal noise is different, not normal, but probably not something that I'd worry about. A quick shot of some lubricant at the pivot point might take care of it. I...
  19. Cage, Seats and Harness Installed

I crashed my Chevrolet product at Road Atlanta with a five point harness and the airbag went off, flinging my arm against the door causing a broken watch and nerve damage. I got the watch fixed, and it took many years for the nerve damage to heal (if it is actually healed, I may just be used to...
  20. Fair warning Steeda so called premium clamps ...🙄

I think there's enough fault to go around to both parties. OP should have tried to work with the vendor before blasting them here. Steeda should have responded better. Best of luck to both.
