You gotta watch out for those devious seniors, LOL.
I had forgotten about this, good point. A friend of mine asked me how I know the limits of the car, and I answered that you don't know the limit until you exceed it. If the car is set up well (as I believe the DH w/o HP is) it...
No argument with anything you wrote. Just two additional thoughts for perspective:
- HPDE is not racing, and therefore I (me, personally) don't need to be the fastest out there. It's a mindset, largely set on my very first track event where I was in my kinda-new Corvette and got lapped...
RTMOP yeah, I can't get the pressures to show in the middle screen. Natch you can see them on the main screen, but I know that's not what the OP wants.
Just to make you all feel bad, here's what my BMW shows me:
OP, since you asked, I'll give you my two cents, which is about twice as much as its worth.
When I was a wee tot, I was at my first autocross with my Datsun 280ZX and there was a guy there with a very competitive and beautiful 240Z all prepped and very fast. I asked him, what should I do to my...
Well, good for you for riding any, at all, in your 70s! I quit riding in my late 50s.
I love your Triumph!
Like others in GA, I researched this in NC, it's not against the law.
Since I retired, I try to take it easy, I'm not in a hurry, just chill. That helps a lot when dealing with all...
LOL, look at the poster's location, he's in SC. The sales tax there on cars is capped at $500. And perhaps the dealer also didn't hose him on fees and other nonsense?
Every state, every dealer and every deal is different. If you reallly want a great deal, see what Granger has in stock.
I don't think the DH has any less sound insulation than the GT, since there isn't much to start with anyway. It seems to me (hard to quantify) that my DH is perhaps a bit quieter than my S550 GT, but that was several years ago and the difference may just be because I'm more deaf now.
My C7...
Well, no, actually, the BMW shows temperature, but I thought the Ford showed pressure in the middle screen as well... so in the Christmas spirit, I went to take pictures of it this morning for @Linwei. Well, either the car has to actually be running in order for it to work, or I am totally...
Thank you! I followed your instructions and had zero issues doing this.
I'll add that I only did it to remove ESE, and although it's a subtle change, it's well worth it.
I also turned off the collision avoidance.
And I used the not-recommended ELM327 adapter, which worked just...
Typically my tires wear out from track use long before they wear from normal street use, so I don't worry about the latter.
With PS4S I usually run around 30-31 cold shooting for no more than 38 hot on the track. 36 seems about optimal, and on a hot track day I'll lower the cold pressure a bit.
LOL on that, although I've never driven in CT.
The worst aggressive hostile behavior I've ever witnessed was when I was in GA in a Porsche 911.
I figure most people wouldn't recognize a DH or know what it is. They're too busy on their phones anyway.
Ever since I retired, I find myself...
So, to clarify, that $50K is a starting salary, and I do believe that in the places that Ford has factories, yes, one could get by. That's why there are no factories in AZ (AFAIK) that makes cars.
Remember, this thread started with the CEO of Ford's comments, and has digressed as these more...
I skipped pages 2-6 of this thread, so forgive me if this has already been asked and answered. According to what I found on the web (not an AI response) starting assembly line workers at Ford plants get $25-29/hour (depending on the source) and go up from there. For a starting wage, that's...
Well, that screen shot was from China and you appear to be in Europe, so the options may be different. For me in the states, you go to the Mustang menu (via the pony button) and then pick auxillary guages.
