I reached out to him on eBay as well and got a rapid response. Looks like a really nice piece to add on. @Stangerous thank you for posting this! I'll be ordering mine very soon, but I need it to read 486 HP, not 480. I'm sure he'll modify it.
This seems very accurate. My 2013 Fusion, God rest her soul, had a 6 speed auto and it shifted like a manual backing off on the throttle and then back on with no change in accelerator input from me. Always loved that feature about that car. I missed driving manual, but at least it shifted around...
I always thought the C stood for compression ignition since both engines technically have combustion.
I agree with everything you said. The only oil I would use aside from Motorcraft is Valvoline which meets Ford specs. I would also recommend every 6 months/5000 miles, whichever comes first.
I'm a little late to the party, but as someone who shopped around a lot for the best deal in my area I can offer the advice of pitching the biggest fit you can. If they won't budge, walk. With my dealer I switched to I got a final out the door price after my deposit, taxes, and license fees...
This is actually why I ordered a GT. I got sick and tried of the mark-up game. Honestly happier with my GT build, but wouldn't liked to have had the top of the line with the track attack. Really I just want the free track attack.
This is awesome! Does anyone know if GT PP owners can pay for this program? I would love to learn from these professionals even on my own dime. @Ford Motor Company can you shed any light, or take this up to the brass in Dearborn? Even though I didn't opt for a DH I did opt for the PP which I...
That's a possibility I would consider if the brake dust doesn't ease up after break in. I've done that before with other makes I've owned, but usually my Ford vehicles quit being quite so dusty after a thousand miles or so.
I've always heard to brake gently for the first 300 miles. Avoid hard stops and slamming on brakes to allow the pads to seat to the rotors properly. Allegedly prolongs brake pad and rotor life.
I saw that, too. Louisville plant and Kentucky plant were mentioned as possible strike locations. This article posted below talks about it, but it did not mention Flat Rock...
Looks like a fair number of us slid to the right. Part of it, I guess. At least we are scheduled. I'll accept an extra week of waiting. Already at 6 months as it is. What's another week?
