Am I the only one that can only think about how much dirt is going to get tracked into that beautiful new Mustang when the technician gets in it to pull it up and complete the PDI?
When could you reasonably buy another Mustang? Maybe you could grab another one in a year or two? That Charger being a "last call" could become something of a collector's item in the future. Tough decision, man. I don't know what to tell you.
I would certainly try! I don't know how mismatched paint panels come from the factory like that. Y'all are just illustrating the fact that I am going over my car with a fine toothed comb. I think you have a case. If the dealer won't honor it hit up @Ford Motor Company on this site.
Been a few folks on here with early issues. Of course we don't ever hear about those with no issues, but I sure hope a pay raise helps increase quality at Flat Rock. Got my eye on a fox body if my car shows up and doesn't pass my inspection.
I would love to see Wimbledon white and Rangoon red come back as colors for the 60th. I would also love Ford to build more that 1,964 of them, but I have a feeling it will be a very limited run of the anniversary edition. A 1964-65 instrument cluster would be a cool option, too, but make that an...
I'm going to go to my boss and tell him I only want to work 32 hours a week, but pay me for 40. Who comes up with this? I'm all for fair wages for fair work, but not great wages for no work. There's a middle ground where everyone wins. Fain is wanting too much for too little.
I'm coming from a 3 on the tree with probably a good foot of clutch travel. This will be completely different, and obviously much sportier. Unless the clutch is super sloppy I'll be leaving it alone.
I don't have FB. Deleted it 10 years ago and never looked back.
How much pollution are we really talking about anyway? A few vapors after the engine shuts off? I'm sure there is more released when I gas up my car anyway. I will still sleep at night.
Is the carbon trap in the main intake plenum upstream of the throttle body? Will the S650 have 2 of these? Just looking at that thing all I see is airflow restriction. Is there any other reason it is there besides emission control? If not, I'm taking that joker off!
You have my attention! Does this affect warranty, or just more emissions crap robbing horsepower?
Anyone wanna post their removal process and dyno results before and after?
I honestly don't care who's fault it is. I'm just pissed that with every passing hurricane or flood our precious American muscle cars become more and more extinct. Mustang is now an endangered species.
Awesome! I actually like the deeper, chambered exhaust note more. Both of my trucks have the Flowmaster 40 series mufflers and I think they sound great, personally. Of course that's not everyone's flavor, but I'm actually excited for that aspect of the car based on your comments. I'm sorry that...
I can get behind a hybrid "Powerboost" option, but I still want the ability to have a straight up, naturally aspirated V-8 with a manual transmission. The writing is on the wall, unfortunately (especially if the same party remains in the WH in 2025). Looks like my future grandchildren will have...
Both are beautiful cars! I can see why you loved your S550. Is the exhaust on the S650 deeper and throatier, or is it more high pitched and raspy? From videos I've seen they sound deeper, but I would like to hear your opinion especially as you commented you prefer the S550 exhaust note over...
He said in his original post that he likes having the latest and greatest. He has said several times he has no buyer's remorse.
I don't think anything in the OP's comment is damning for the S650. He's comparing 2 generations and stated he is disappointed in some things he found on his new car...
I read the full release on Ford's own media website. I thought it looked very good. $92k is nothing to sneeze at financially. Those are good wages IMHO. I guess we will wait to see what the UAW president says about it, and if they are close to an agreement. Hoping, like the rest of y'all, for no...
That was a link to another gentleman that is a former Ford Master Tech and now runs his own shop fixing Ford vehicles in the Chicago area. Best place to look for high detergent fuel is to use Top Tier Gas. Here's a link of all of them: https://www.toptiergas.com/gasoline-brands/
