100% not true! I had an order and got the email, but my dealer had no allocation. They still don't. Anyone can submit an order, but a dealer only gets so many allocations.

I would ask how many allocations they have, and how many have been obligated so far. For example, the dealer I changed my order told me that he had 8 of 24 allocations remaining (vs zero allocations at my hometown dealer). I got one of those allocations, and it only took 1 missed scheduling...

There's a 2 owner 65 here in town for sale. Going to look at it Saturday just for S's and G's. Strike for an extended period I may just buy this classic pony and call it good. Would match my 65 F100 if I bought it.

Are you getting a Dark Horse or GT? I think he meant the DH wouldn't likely arrive until Spring which may be a reality for some. If you ordered a GT I think you'll be in the clear to get scheduled Thursday if your dealer has an allocation, and your order is up to be pulled.

So what you're saying, @roket, is let the dealer prep your car, but look it over really well on a sunny day before accepting delivery?

Didn't try all those dealers. I gave up early when the boys in Bama came in under MSRP, no gimmicks. That was with the drive alone.

I'm out near Walhalla, just this side of the state line. I hope they have an allocation for you. Little dealers on this side did not have one hence why I'm driving to Bama to get mine. Atlanta and Athens dealers had too much mark-up.

Who did you order from? I'm in northeast Georgia and I couldn't find a dealer worth a flip in Anderson or Greenville.
