Oh shit, I think this is absolutely is the real deal. The vertical rear crease with the upper panel being more bent upwards. The whole sidelines, headlights being in line with the upper wheel arc. The more open lower bumper. Even down to the strange hood vent on the center top that is camod on...
Another grasp, the spied cars could indicate these multiple lower lines on the side. Might be a coincidence, but at the rear part they have taped exactly the same \_\ shape that is on the sketch.
Ok I will grasp at straws here a bit, but this sketch totally has a concept of the final wheels we see on the real car to me. I usaed the not upscaled image for the comparison here:
I don't think so. The upper half of the frontend is 1:1 Evos/China Mondeo, the lower half of the front is 1:1...
Found it, there was a Mach-E design stream was never released officially. I think they made a mistake and actually put on a few S650 design sketches
I made higher quality pictures of that:
They also shared this image, I ran it through an AI upscaling. The bottom one is a Mach E sketch, but...
Where are those pictures coming from? Didn't saw them in the Mach E press kits back then. The sidelines look 100% spot on with the camod car. Especially the vertical rear creases and the lower lines on the side going to the door can pretty much be confirmed on the spied car.
I tried to upscale...
I think Ford China went a bit too far with this one, the screen is just way too wide. Why even have stuff that the driver can't even reach at all.
I have the bring up the EV6 again, it the same idea as in the Evos, but looks way cleaner and still has a panel for climate and radio.
I don't...
What an crazy idea to put the Evos face on a Mustang 😁
Technology and the market is changing fast currently. Nobody has to be an economic expert to see that EV markt share could rise to 30+% in the next 10 years globally - And with EVs you can also save all the costs of emission tests for...
There is no way Ford is building a midengine Mustang. They surely tested the C8 for what it is, a sportcar competitor that rivals maybe not the GT, but higher models like whatever the next GT350 and GT500 will be. Every carmaker tests new cars of competitors to get some knowledge how they build...
Did we really see a GT yet? We saw two time the same car with the 5 spoke wheels. The only GT we saw was a camod S550, so god knows what Ford is doing is testing with that car. But S550 started with 3 engine options, so we will have to wait how many options S650 will have
It wouldn't surprise...
Yes, the upper line of the headlight sits at about the heigth of the wheel.
On S550 refresh the headlights sit not really higher, but is more angled so the headlights are reaching clearly above the wheels at the highest point.
Absolutely. I don't like the trend of oversized grilles, Audi and BMW are already going way too far on that. The S550 already had a lot of the grille meshes actually blocked off since it was just for the visuals. Just like fake exhausts, I just can't stand fake air intakes. Even the GT500 got...
From a short glimse I am happy that we can finally see the lower air vents, that seems to be similiar (but smaller) than the Mach 1 lower bumper. We can also see a bit more of the headlight housings, that seems have very sharp angles around them.
It's hard to see anything important on the...
As I said in the other topic, don't read too much into patents. Carmakers develop technologies all the time, a lot of them are never going into production. Like Gms Clutch By Wire, active Aero for the C8, the Glass Roof Mustang, the Alpha-2 Cadillac Coupe (that obviously shared the cancelled...
I wouldn't read too much into patents from carmakers. There are things like the full glasroof Mustang, the Cadillac Alpha-2 Coupe, C8 with active aero and so many more stuff that never made it into production.
While other cars didn't copy every single line from the chinese Mondeo/Evos I think you can still see similiarities on the new Focus and Fiesta. Especially the big single grille seems to be the new trend for Ford, even though it luckily looks like Mustang will not have that at least
