You do realize these systems have fallback methods, that in case of an failure the brake will bypass the electric stuff and leaves with you a clasisc brake system.
After a bit of thought I think the design is really close to how the RS7 (or even most Audi RS models) looks like. Split in the bumper is of course higher, but the rest is actually quite similiar.
I absolutely love the look of the RS models. With a more angular body and the fastback...
I think it's all bodycolored, it's totally colormatching all other painted parts in the Ecoboost picture and on the GT one the artifacts really ruin a sense of materials.
One thing I just noticed: They finally added the sidemarkers as separate units next to wheels, so they finally can stop...
The more I look at the GT, the more I like. It's drastically better than any rendering preticted. It really looks like a mix of my favorite models 69 Mach 1 and S550 GT350. Oh man, I think I might be back into the market for a Mustang, who is going to tell my wife? 😂
Thank you! Yeah, people...
I got to say, I was pretty disappointed when seeing the Ecoboost. But I really like the GT. I think the pic isnt doing it full justice, the full frontend will have strong GT350 vibes to it, but way more angular.
The grille totally reminds me of my favorite Mustang, the 1969 Mach 1. Damn, it's...
Pretty late to the party here, just moved and PC and internet is running now again 😁
We obviously have three models here:
US Ecoboost (small brakes)
EU GT (nice wheels, bigger brakes, EU mirrors)
EU Hybrid AWD (rear brake on the inner side of the wheel, EU mirrors)
In terms of the...
Please tell me which of those cars is the most selling sportscar in the world. The Mustang is not a pure sportscar, as the name already says it, it's a Gran Tourismo. If you want more performance, go for a Shelby.
Ford has really raised their prices in the last years, but the GT is still one of...
Why in hell do you expect an EU GT (which is tuned down compared to US) be faster than a Toyota Supra with BMWs V6? The Mustang is like 300kg heavier, you can't make that up by sure horsepower.
What third world countries are you talking about that don't prep their tracks for quarter mile runs? Why even care about drag races on non prepped tracks? That's like recording track times in the snow.
US carmakers usally remove the "1 foot rollout" which makes their accleration numbers sound...
I don't know, the quotes are way too detailled for officiall statements regarding a new Mustang. They usally don't talk about future cars as long as there isn't anything revealed officially.
I think the body colors parts in the side intakes look really off. To me they perfected the S550 design with the Mach 1. If they had released this design as the MY2018 refresh I maybe wouldn't have ended up with a Camaro instead.
Interior is pretty much always relying on the base models. You can add better leather paddings or carbon inserts, but overall you can't compare the interior of a car starting at $65k with a a car starting at $27k.
That's actually the reason why I would prefer a C8 over a ZL1 or GT500, they just...
It's called Mustang 5.0 fever since its launch in 2010. I wouldn't read too much into up as long as S650 is not revealed. They might change the name after the reveal.
