I wouldn't even be sure if the released picture is an actual photo. It looks a bit like a rendering to me which shouldn't necessary be 100% close to the real lines.
Especially the mirrors being before the A pillar doesn't really make sense to me. A driver wouldn't be able to see the mirrors...
I have to say that I don't quite see the GT3 lines on the S650 prototype. You can easily see that the strongest outline is on the heigth of the doorhandle, going all through the side, and then a dominant line is the from the mirror to the front fender. I still think the rear will have the...
Somehow I got the bad feeling that in the end they still put the MT-82 in european cars 😅
The Gertrag has to be ditched, it's just a horrible transmission for such a great car
People already discuss way too much if the current generation is called muscle or pony car. If you nail all that down to just the engine technology, you will have to find new words for everything since pretty much every single car will go EV within the next 2 generations.
To me pony/muscle car...
Since Ford added some strange bumper lights to the mach 1 prototypes just for fun and giggles, who knows why they camod this Gen 6. I guess they are testing some stuff that mostly under the hood, but wouldn't quite fit a Gen 6 so they had to cut things off or add wires.
I compared the car with one of the Mach 1 prototypes, it's easy to see that the recently spied car is - again - a Gen 6 car. The Gen 7 had a totally different difussor that reaches way higher with much more outstanding lines that pressed through the camo sheets
If you look closely around the...
As said earlier I am also a bit disappointed how close to Gen 6 the car seems to be. I understand why they wouldn't touch their winning formula, but actually I think this is a huge risk for Gen 7.
From what I heard one of the biggest selling problems for Chevy of the Camaro 6 on launch was not...
Guys, Ford ist totally messing with us. Upon further analysis, this is definitely not a S650 but a camod S550!!!
Look how the vertical line of the bumper is missing, but we see the old horizontal line of S550. Also the diffusor is clearly the old one.
On the Headlight Bezel an tribars you can...
Seeing the big mirrors again, so it's definitely the european version. Damn it Ford, cant you just make one mirror size for all Mustangs just like the Chevy did on the C8?
Otherwise we can clearly see a different DRL than on the other car which looks more like two tribars we can spot here...
I totally agree that adding "air pockets" on the lower sides would improve the look drastically. But right now I don't see that on the spied car.
Since the "S550 2nd refresh" mules we know Ford has no problems just add stuff to their prototypes that is not on the final cars or remove some...
They never build a Corvette Rival, I don't see what should have changed the execs minds especially while EVs are becoming more important. If the S650 really comes with a pure V8 it is a really risky business case on its own. My best guess for all the Gen 7 delays is that Ford already had long...
Yeah, that looks possible. But I could totally see Ford messing with us by using padding that adds lines that arent there
Currently I am thinking the additional edge on the side of the rear could give the car a bit of a Camaro look:
I think on this picture it becomes clear that these tail lights have an actual 3d shape. It seems like they still have the tribar shape but the outer ones are more angled downwards. The light spots we see are just caused by the wrap. So I highly doubt these are test lights. Test lights usally...
Absolutely, standalone online events are now pretty much the standard. Why even bothering with the over expensive auto shows where you have to split your attention with tons of other models. Auto shows were already dying way before covid.
Now I just have to hope that the livestream will not be...
