I completed the latest upgrade to my 2005 Pontiac GTO on Saturday, a process that started several months ago. Last October, I saw a pair of GTO 18" wheels for sale on a GTO forum and bought them, then found another pair on FB Marketplace and drove about an hour to buy that pair. Then I sent 1...
My wife was driving home from work the other day with the convertible top down and had an older guy (she figured late 60s or 70s) ask if she was looking for a husband. 😀 She said, no, my husband bought me this car. :)
Our minivans had the filter mounted sideways, so I'd only fill the new filter halfway and spin it on quick enough that the oil stayed in the filter. My previous and current cars all had the filter mounted vertically, so I've always filled them up for peace of mind.
Wife's Mustang sat in a parking garage for the past few days while we flew to see family in another state. It was covered in pollen when we got back, so I hosed it off and cleaned the windows. It'll get washed when it warms up this weekend.
I've seen S-tier in reference to type of exercises listed in YouTube videos, with S-tier being the best exercise for a certain muscle and then A through D or E tiers.
Our neighbor diagonally across the street from us has a Ram truck with the Hellcat engine. It's just about as loud as our Mustang, so he doesn't mind ours starting up. Our quiet mode schedule is 10 pm to 8 am.
I've been working on my cars (and my wife's cars) for over 30 years, starting with oil changes and tire rotations to nearly everything else. I had the alignment checked on my Camaro once, never checked on our minivans, and twice on my GTO (most recently due to a bunch of suspension work I did)...
My wife loved the sound of the engine when she test-drove it, didn't even consider the Ecoboost. We also love the interior and just about every part of the car, except the digital HVAC controls instead of dials and buttons.
I doubt they can make it an AWD hybrid like the Corvette eRay and new Grand Sport X as there isn't room for all of the hardware. The C8 had the room baked into the design, so the S750 would need some major changes. Adding an electric motor in between the engine and trans is possible if they...
Yes, here's a couple pics I took last weekend. I don't have any of the interior, but the photos from the website are pretty accurate as far as color of the gray seats and panel inserts.
That's very similar to my wife's car, but we didn't get most of those options, just the AVE, 19" polished premium wheels, and mini spare tire. It's got 4400 miles on it and we both love driving it.
Where did you find these sales figures? It used to be easy to find the monthly (and then quarterly) sales for the big 3, but now it seems like it's a big secret.
