  1. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

This is what you will most likely hear. “We have not changed the price of you car“. “We are “collecting” a Gas Guzzler tax and forwarding it to the Federal Government. The word collecting gets them out of any agreement they have with you. Ask me how I know. :giggle:
  2. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

That is all well and good as this protects you from dealer price shenanigans. But it will likely not do anything for a increase due to a Federal tax.
  3. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

You know the order guides always have mistakes. This could be one of them. Or the EPA handed down it’s ruling on the GT after the March order guide came out. Ford then had to add it. If this is the case then in actuality it is a price increase. But as it is a tax I doubt Ford is going to offer...
  4. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

Question. So does your order sheet show the GG tax?
  5. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

There is “no” price increase So there will be no price protection. Ford just added the existing tax to the MSRP because there was no where else to put it. Nothing changes.
  6. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

    Thank you for noticing. Fixed!
  7. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

OK, so this is exactly what happened. On the configurator the MSRP on a base GT with M6 is $42,195. With the A10 it is $41,195. Gas Guzzler Tax is $1,000. Problem solved. This is the A10 This is the M6 (with the $1K Gas Tax) This is both correct and incorrect. Correct for the standard M6...
  8. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

Yes and No. It appears there “may” be an error on the configurator that is now including the gas tax on the GT (M6) and DH (A10 & M6) into the MSRP. This may be intentional as there is no other way to show the tax as a stand alone line on the configurator. If this is the case then there is no...
  9. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

It sure does. And, you are correct, it certainly seems that this is what happened. Guess we have to stay tuned to “Days of Our Configurator”.
  10. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

The gas tax is not included in the MSRP and does not show up on the configurator. You have the MSRP. Then you have the delivery fee. The gas tax is a line item shown under options.
  11. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

Your non-refundable deposit was based on the price you agreed to. If that price changes you get your deposit back.
  12. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

Here are the configurator prices for a base DH. And the 4/19 price list clearly showing the lower MSRP without the destination fee and the gas tax as a separate line item. It is "NOT" included in the MSRP. I still think it is an error on the configurator. I guess we will know when the next...
  13. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

4/19 price sheet for DH 600a is $57,970. On the configurator it is $59,270. Typo or price increase?
  14. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

So are the increases shown on the configurator for the GT and DH a mistake or will there be a new 4/24 price list?
  15. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

What does this thread has anything to do with Ford dealers? Time to get a Snickers bar. :giggle:
  16. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

See my post #18 above. That’s the old pricing with the A10.
  17. Price increase already on 2024 Mustangs!

Nope. The price increase is MSRP. Gas tax is a line item. With A10 With M6 Old build with lower MSRP
  18. Gauges

Not bad but I prefer my mustang.
  19. How to use Remote Rev in 2024 Mustang S650 & a Key History Lesson

Well, this feature was meant for car people. The other 97.8712% won’t even know or care. Or maybe they will find out about it, try it, love it, and become car people.
