If you want a spare to use with PP cars there are options. #1 would be the one from Automotive Authority. Not inexpensive, but a Godsend if needed.

Well for the entire run of the S550 the spare was optional so there was no difference. I guess Ford figures if you can afford the PP you can afford the spare. đź¤

Any why not? Many Mustang owners have more expensive cars including exotics. Car enthusiasts like variety and a Mustang fills that "muscle" car slot nicely. Same goes with a Corvette. I personally know a few folks that own some very, very expensive sports cars and also own Corvettes and Mustangs.
