Have you tried a forced reboot, I mean disconnect the batt for 2 mins. Would be discouraged but possibly encouraged if itās battery related. A bad batch can be fixed a bad design more complicated.

held the visor button for a good 30 seconds and released.
Holding the garage door opener next to the button on the visor I held the button on the opener down...
