Have you tried a forced reboot, I mean disconnect the batt for 2 mins. Would be discouraged but possibly encouraged if it’s battery related. A bad batch can be fixed a bad design more complicated.

I believe there are manufacturers that use a camera and display the output in the rear view mirror. Helpful for seeing through passengers.

By chance, did you get it working? Just did ours, can’t say it’s as old as yours but if you wanna give it a shot this is what we did. held the visor button for a good 30 seconds and released. Holding the garage door opener next to the button on the visor I held the button on the opener down...

Does this mean the seat and mirrors (too bad rear view doesn’t adjust) are sync’d to the fob and automatically adjust upon entry via driver door?

springboard. Those days we had a belt, pump, and fluid. Is it safe to assume that electric power steering isn’t using fluid and pumps and belts but is able to dynamically adjust ‘stiffness’ (ratio stays the same) depending upon selected drive mode?
