In this vein. warm oil flows easier than cold oil. In my experience oil filters usually break free easier once warmed, although I will admit I haven’t experienced the joy with ours yet. Thoughts on prefilling the filter?

The response / actions by the tech may provide a hint. If the tech was like, yeah what’s up with that, you really should get that looked at. Or if the tech was like, what sound, can you point it out?
