I just tested mine several times, and can confirm the heart beat sound comes on every time you push start button. It does not matter if the e-brake is on, or if I use remote start or not. I do have to wonder if it's tied to the B&O sound system or its settings since I always get the B&O logo...

A bad cord will give you intermittent connection issues. Had it happen on my '23 where it the connection would only work randomly or only partially connect to certain functions. Someone said it happens when you use non Samsung cords. So I swapped out the cord, and sure enough everything worked...

I'll bet it was the cord. A lot of aftermarket cords have connectivity issues, especially for music. Try unplugging and see if the sound system goes back to normal. Do you have Android auto or Apple play?

If you mean the background color, then yeah, its always dark. Im not sure if the convertibles have a brighness detector like our phone screens do. Maybe you are also getting glare from having the top down?
