Get your fuel metering upgraded and you'll be good. Gen3's have the best fuel system on a factory car.
My 2018 with a Centri blower made 780 to the wheel with ID1050's and a tune only. Stock fuel pump. Most impressive.
2024 with less than 5K miles. Ran perfect pre-Whipple.
Double checked the install by removing the blower, found one o-ring gasket that was suspect, replaced with Whipple o-rings, otherwise all good.
Then took it to an independent Speed/Performance shop, they found no mechanical issues.

It's a long story and I don't want to bore folks with my Whipple issues. All I will say is if you have any issues, Whipple will categorically blame the install and basically look the other way.
Do an AI search for: Whipple stage 1 issues on Gen 7 mustangs
This is only a partial list of...
Robvas,
Great question. Based on the outstanding street performance of my 2018 GT's P1-X, if I go with an EES, then I'll buy the G2 on my 2024.
I currently have a Whipple on my 2024 and have had nothing but trouble. I may be selling a Whipple Stage 1 really cheap if we can't get the Whipple...
Thanks, done all that. Submitted a ticket to HPTuners. This is the problem, per HTPTuners:
This OS, ZRBK2, is a recycled whipple OS. It was used for both the MG1 and TC298 platforms. We support the TC298 version, but do not have the ability to switch the definitions between the two...
I have not disconnected the CarPlay. I have disconnected the cars blue tooth and I have a Starlink modem about 6 feet from the car itself.
My guys makin' me jealous.
I am trying. Not going that well overall. RTD4 will not read my 2024 GT. Working with my tuner (not his fault).
Not sure this stuff was ready to be released just yet.
WTB the factory air filter housings only for my 2024 GT. Don't need the MAF housing or the inlet tubes, but will take the assembly if you don't want to part the housings out. Email me at: [email protected] or PM me.
I can send a PPD shipping label.
Rocketman,
The Whipple is obviously an option. But lots more moving parts and much more dis- and reassembly is needed for the Whipple. Lots of tubing, hoses, intake manifold has to come off, etc.
An ESS or Procharger (centri) is simpler and while they can take about the same amount of...
Sf22giants,
I can't believe you posted that . . . I was thinking the other day if AI could decipher a log, that would be great.
I'm going to give that a try. Thanx a bunch.
Smoke test - no issues at all.
Injectors are brand new Ford GT500's, however one or more could be faulty.
Car has 4,800 miles total, virtually new, stock exhaust manifolds and CAT's; never disturbed O2 sensors.
Ran perfect until the Whipple install.
I would think a detailed log, that was sent...
Junkyard Dog,
P219B.
Drive exclusively under 3K, no code. The moment I run it up to 4.5K, CEL comes on.
Spent $12,500.00 for kit and install, and car is now defective.
RB281,
I feel your pain. I have a brand new Whipple Stage 1 that I can't drive. It's throwing a code.
I have checked everything Whipple has asked, even sent a datalog of which I got no response.
Tech support at Whipple just asked me to send pics of the car.
Not sure how this is going to...
