Nothing wrong going with Stage 1. Still a lot of power and one man's nirvana is another man's ho-hum.
I have never gone over 150 in my Procharged GT (It's not top speed limited) and never will, so the top speed thing is a moot point, IMHO.
First off I want to take a moment to give a huge shout out to Beefcake Racing (Terry Reeves). I was having a small issue with my new Whipple kit for my 2024 GT. Terry called me Friday night and told me he contacted Whipple and the issue should be resolved. It was. So, think about this level...
You can mix 2.5 gallons of E85 with 13 gallons of 93 and get 97 (assuming 100 octane on the E).
Plus the E85 will drop combustion temps a bit, thus making for a stouter street ride.
Got my Whipple Stage 1 from Beefcake for my 2024 GT. Ordered it Oct. 21st, scheduled to be delivered on Dec. 2.
Great price and great service on the Whipple. Got my Procharger Stage 2 from Beefcake about 4 years ago.
He's a trusted seller.
You don't air out a S/C mustang in the curves.
It will only go as fast as you want it to. It's a totally different animal with a S/C'er.
There literally are no downsides if you can afford it.
To the OP, I bought my 2018 GT, premium 400a package with A10, 355 rear when I was 62+. I just turned 69.
Installed a Procharger with P1X on my 2018. Don't wait, don't hesitate, and for goodness sake, don't take the advice of the "don't do it" crowd. Do it. I drive like you do, and there...
I second the "let's shut this thread down".
I deal with customers that rant on forums, and never contact the seller to make an attempt to resolve the issue, first.
I'll make it a point to buy something from Steeda soon.
The low end torque of the Whipple is very appealing.
The offer from Brevin is also very attractive.
I've had a centri on my 2018 GT for the past 4 years, 21K trouble-free miles, and absolutely love it.
Roush would be a PD blower, so essentially the same performance wise as the Whipple...
So . . . an ESS Kit optioned correctly is $7,120.00. To have it tuned with purchase of the RTD, the tuner fees, and credits needed comes to $8,420.00, plus tax. Based on my tax rate this would total $9,346.00. Not sure if ESS charges shipping.
I emailed Beefcake racing and they quoted a...
Tschroll,
I am very jealous. Need some info, how do you like it? Tuned by? Fitment? Etc.
P1X? (that's what I have on my 2018).
Don't be shy, give me some beans!!
You cannot disable the A/SS with forscan. I tried it. No go.
It can be disabled permanently in less than a minute with no tools or use of any OBD device.
Now I only hit the start button and don't touch the A/SS button.
