  1. Post your aftermarket wheels! (HELP ME CHOOSE)!

For a second I was confuse and thought it was a 6th generation.
  2. Cool Daily Random S650 Mustang Pics -- Post Yours! 📸

What a view with snow capped mountains in the background! Nice. You sure have some slower cars mixing it up out there with you, though.
  3. Automatic or 6-speed - honest feedback

I would recommend the opposite if a buyer was intending to take the car to the track, regardless of what kind of track. I would say get the A10. Set it in Track Mode (or Drag Mode, depending upon what sort of track) and go for it.
  4. Post your aftermarket wheels! (HELP ME CHOOSE)!

It's going to be hard to beat your factory bronze wheels, but I am curious to see what you choose.
  5. All Season tires for a Dark Horse with Handling Package

That was not the test I saw, but the results are very similar. Out of curiosity, what is your wheel and tire setup?
  6. Dark Horse is here!

Ah! I did not know that. Does it not fit in a Maverick, then? EDIT: Google says it requires mods to fit. OK, back to our usual programming.
  7. Dark Horse is here!

Why didn't Ford ever stick a 351 in the Maverick? It is physically the same size as the 302 that they did use, and was used in a number of other cars during the 70-77 period that the Maverick was produced. That would have made this a memorable car.
  8. All Season tires for a Dark Horse with Handling Package

Not the All Seasons, but a number of forum members here have installed the PS4S Michelins on the stock Dark Horse Handling Package wheels, using the same sizes (305 and 315 30/19)and there is no rubbing or impinging in spite of the wider tread as compared to the Pirelli Trofeo RS (probably...
  9. All Season tires for a Dark Horse with Handling Package

Just an FYI, if this matters to you. By using a wider tire on the same wheel, you are reducing your lateral grip. That tire would handle better on a wider wheel, and a narrower tire would handle better on the same wheel. There are some Youtube videos floating around testing this very thing...
  10. Mach 1 to DH

It depends upon your own driving conditions. Speed bumps, etc, even your own driveway and whether it transitions to harshly from uphill to horizontal . . . there is not a lot of clearance under there.
  11. Whipple performance on road race track?

LOL, that is going to be fast. What size pulley(s) and what size throttle body are you using?
  12. Whipple performance on road race track?

Mine has a differential temperature displayed on the dashboard, but are there a lot of differential failures on track for overheated differentials during HPDE track days on street radial tires? I doubt it. Since you say it has been an issue, maybe you know more about it or have seen it...
  13. 2025 Dark Horse, OEM B&O Sub replacement - Pioneer TS-D10D4

LOL Honestly, think it looks great. I did not even notice the Philips head screws at first, and they would look like they belong there if you were not aware that the car did not originally come that way.
  14. Higher Oil Temps After Sw Update??

I live in Georgia. I purchased my car in June. I have never had the AC off. Also, I have a Dark Horse with the handling package. So I do not know how useful my information would be to you, but cruising along on the highway my temps are usually in the 180s if I am just driving easily. On the...
  15. Higher Oil Temps After Sw Update??

My oil temps did not change after the update Monday.
  16. Why Has Nobody Invented a Working Strut Tower Brace for Whippled Mustangs?

I am happy to be wrong. Could you please elaborate?
  17. There is a governor!

What are the other colors, green, orange, red? I see on the internet the white sign with a blue square and black numbers, but I do not remember seeing those signs in the late 80s. The internet says they were introduced in 1974. Maybe I did not want to see them.
