PS - not crapping on your car.
Visually, I think it looks great, but I got my first car in the 80s, so I like the tall sidewall, fat tire stuffed in the wheel wells for drag racing look . . .
I am merely talking about track days and lap times.
the 305/35 19 has a tread width of 10.7" if it is the PZ4

That is not the ideal track set up for a ten inch wheel, but it will work very well if you upgrade to 11"...
You probably reduced the ability to stick to the road in turns by putting tires with too much tread on that width of wheel.
It is better to have the tread be slightly narrower than the wheel width.
If you want wider tires, and you want it actually to handle well, your lap times will be...
Ok, it is only 760 hp, though, at the flywheel, right?
I mean, that is an outrageously crazy amount of horsepower from the factory, especially back in 2019, when it first came out.
BUT - a stage 2 Whipple ought to put out 875 hp. And less weight. 4225 pounds is a lot.
DCT may cut some...
It should be legal in such jurisdictions to use the Lo Jack to track your own car and take whatever private revenge you believe is appropriate upon those you find.
I do not assume that the original poster spent more of his income/assets as a percentage than I did on this car.
I am not even a millionaire yet. :frown:
I don't think anybody is going to fault you for buying a GT500.
I am curious how a Dark Horse with a Whipple would perform against that Dark Horse, though (in every way, not just acceleration)
Do it!
And please update the thread so we can follow along.
I am supremely jealous about all of the other cars you have owned. The car in my avatar is the most expensive car I have ever owned.
I am guessing on an autocross course you can never actually push the pedal down to the floor with a Whipple like you would be able to do on an actual road course track?
So give us a little narrative to go with that picture. You are at Langley Speedway with a Whipple supercharged Dark Horse and all sorts of chassis upgrades . . .
Are you also Fornula Russell Champion, whom I quoted?
EDIT: Nevermind. I see you responding to him above, so you are two different persons. I was responding to his post. He is running different wheels and tires.
OK, so in post 14, there is a lengthy attachment in which you describe shaving 4 seconds, a world of time, off of your lap time when you put 100 octane in the tank.
But you also recommend to the OP that he seriously consider Toyo R888R, so yuck. I do not know anybody who has run different...
