Edit: these all say they are for 2015-2023 Mustangs. But the fit the S650 just fine.
I had that happen on a new GT test drive before I bought my current car.
You'd give it gas and it would hesitate or barely move for a couple seconds. Happened intermittently on the test drive. Took it back to the dealer and they didn't believe me until it did the same thing for them. Super...
New Zeland rates their octane differently.
The Hipo 289 had a higher compression ratio (10.1), than the standard 289. In those days high compression engines required premium fuel to reduce spark knock. Timing was still largely done with vacuum advance (although the hipo was mechanical).
One hand or two?
I was just using mine over the weekend. It alerted me when I just held the wheel from the bottom. When I switched to 10 and 2 the warnings stopped. You need the appropriate weight on the wheel so it doesn't alert.
Anchor Room even experimented with weights that fit over the...
I detects the weight on the wheel. If your hands are at 10 and 2 it won't give you the alert. If you are one handing it from the bottom on the wheel, it won't detect the weight and alert you.
My assumption is that the PP cars also have stiffer springs (can't find the specs online), which means the Magnaride probably does help make the ride quality better. I just couldn't tell the difference on my test drives, and I think the base GT S650s ride quality is very good. Much more so than...
I would argue the exact opposite. For the cost to get Magneride, you better damn well feel a difference. Otherwise what's the point?
You can not change it with Forscan. To my knowledge, I beleive the only Mustang that allowed Magnaride to be changed independently was the GT350.
