On my car, the track set up will actually increase by a half inch, to 11", on the front, to match the rear, rather than decrease what I can install on the rear. I intend to have tires with tread in the 10.5-11.5" range, as well, the same on front and rear. If I could run 12 or 13 all the way...

You can fit larger wheels and tires more comfortably in the rear than the front. My Dark Horse handling package came staggered, 10.5/11 and 305/315. I think the standard Dark Horse and the GT Performance Package are staggered, as well. I will probably remain staggered for my street tires...

295/30R20 is exactly 27" tall, the same as stock, and can be used on a 10-11" wheel.

Oh! I missed that they are different front and rear. So front is only 27" I would try to get as close to 27 and 27.7 as I could get so that your car never knows the difference.

I hope it works out for you. I would hate to lose some functionality or have my car behave strangely due to tire diameter.

I don't know what width front wheels you have, but a 265/35R19. OOPS, I meant 265/35R20 Pirelli PZ4 is 27.3" diameter, so the front and rear would be almost exactly the same height. Frankly, I would have gone with a wider wheel and a 305/30 front and a 315/30 rear. That is what is on my car...
