  1. Flex fuel tune check engine

No I didnt say that at all. I said once tuned, your DH is the same as a GT. or if it makes it go down smoother, the GT is brought up to the level of the DH...lol My opinion is for manual guys only wanting to run 91/93, there isnt much on the table for you. Sure refinement and now clutch...
  2. Flex fuel tune check engine

Yes. There isn’t a tune difference once you tune out what ford tricked you into thinking was a difference. Stock to stock, the tune files are almost identical with the exception of a bit less tq management for the DH. That’s your extra power. Once removed, the GT makes the same power. Don’t...
  3. Flex fuel tune check engine

? you mean flex fueling? No we aren’t planning on ever doing a flex tune. But I’ve personally tuned several DHs. lol they are virtually the same as GTs with a bit less stock tq management. Hate to break it to you but a tuned GT vs a tuned DH is 1:1. There is no advantage to the DH once all...
  4. Flex fuel tune check engine

Being on my end, all I’ve heard of was problems and this is going back to 2018.
  5. Flex fuel tune check engine

This is why its rare anyone does these anymore. User issues 9/10 times. No offense OP, not even worth doing these.

  8. Whipple Calibration On Hold

Oh and e30 is preferable over e10 gas even with the stock whipple cal. Youll get a bit extra knock protection as well as a bit extra cooling from the extra ethanol. It makes a tremendous difference in knock protection. The car will use the fuel trims to add the extra 5-10% fuel volume needed...
  9. Whipple Calibration On Hold

No that’s not. COT is only for enrichment at WOT. Or happens to be when cats temps are at their peak. 1600* + inferred
  10. Whipple Calibration On Hold

DFCO cuts fuel at tip out over 2800rpm. That lean spike super heats cats and isn’t something you want after a heavy pull. Cat over temp enriches fueling to cool the cats. It’s bad for cylinder walls because it can wash them down. Cat over temp isn’t going to hurt the cats but it could hurt...
  11. 10R80 Tuning Question

8k has been just past the sweet spot for peak power. We see peak airflow right around 7900-7950, so shooting for 8k which all my auto tunes target puts you in the meat of the power band after the shift. 8k is fine we’ve been shifting gen3 cars at that limit since 2018. Past that is just...
  12. 10R80 Tuning Question

Absolutely. All those fuel cuts get moved up and refined. You wont hit the limiter anymore. Unless something catastrophic happens.
  13. 10R80 Tuning Question

Tune fixes all that. These cars love to shift at 8k RPM. I set mine all to do this. Extensive trans changes, and they both drive like caddys at part throttle and at WOT, its a fire breathing beast. If you are an auto guy, you really need a tune to get the most out of these cars. The manual...
  14. 10R80 Tuning Question

No I dont. Just havent gotten around to it. Ive tuned close to 200 s650s since July and between those and the gen2/3 cars that come up, I have almost no time to even look into an EB car. Let alone the coyote F150s and EB F150s.
  15. Tuners for New build 25 Dark Horse

Where the heck do people come up with this shit? Lol.
  16. 10R80 Tuning Question

Most tuners can refine out the trans. I do a ton to the 10R80 in my tunes. the biggest help is removing all the skip shifting at part throttle. Really makes the car drive nice.
  17. Slippery Mode-very impressed with how much it changes things

Its just depressed pedal demand. You give 50% pedal, you get 25% TB opening...(example)
  18. Washing your mustang getting that body control module not a sensor wet

I believe if you are getting the water on the passenger front floor carpet after rain/wash, then you are going to have the issue. The BCM sits right above that footwell behind the plastic where the water would run down, drip on it and onto the floor. I believe thats the tell tail sign is the...
  19. Hidden tracking device plugged into OBD2 port

God this forum is junk. This is simply the dealer lojack they try to sell you when you buy a new car. If you say no, they dont remove it because its like $10 in plastic and circuit board. They also use them for lot management before you buy the car. They can see where the car is on the...
