Correct. They said no recalls when one was still open. Now you have a defective car. That dealer totally messed up. I'd call them tomorrow and ask for the store manager. Let us know!
You didn't mess up. This is just bad luck. But, that dealer sold you a mustang with an open recall that was certified. And during a stop sale no less. When you had the recall done, damage was discovered. They can't blame you for that. They sold you a certified defective car. They should have...
It doesnt matter if you knew about it. Ford issued a stop sale because of the recall. They weren't supposed to sell any cars until the recall fix was done. Now I'm not sure how that applies to used cars. But at the very least, your damage was missed on the inspection. And im assuming you didnt...
OP - you are officially the first person I've personally heard of with water damage. Sorry to hear about this. ☹️
In looking at you pictures, I didn't see anything jumping out at me that was the water damage in question. The second picture is also blury. Can you point to what I'm missing...
I went to the dealer and drove a car that had them. It was the most uncomfortable test drive I've ever been on in my life. My back hurt after 5 minutes and I couldn't wait to get out of that thing. Even the sales guy thought they were pretty bad.
Recaros are meant for the track or regular back road racing.
If you aren't doing those things, then you're just paying 2k so you can brag that you have recaros with a sweaty ass and a sore back.
Damn. You
Dang man. You are all in for like $800 bucks for oil separators. 😬 it's like a 15 min DYI. 🤦♂️
I refuse to drop full retail on the Ford set. Especially when you only need the one side. I do like the OEM look. And I had it on my 2023. But that price tag is just stupid.
Ok. I forgot where you live.
I ask because all of the vibration complaints I have seen on this forum were on PP cars. I think it has something to do driveline or Torsen diff. It's not a transmission issue.
This reminds me of the gentleman on this forum who has a Dark Horse and proudly bragged that he took his camber to zero because he didn't want any tire wear. 🤣
Oh it might still send you messages. I have no idea because I don't let my car sit.
A battery maintainer is always a good idea for any car that sits. Unless you like buying new batteries every couple years. It's been that way long before EVs. If you feel silly, then go drive your car man. 😉
