Last night after I got home from work (yes Thanksgiving) I got this message from the Ford app.
The battery issues in these cars have been well documented of late. Last weekend my heart beat got replaced by the chime again. So I put a battery tender and charged it. I drove the car all week...
It has more to do with the phone than the charger. Most people aren't even aware that all phones have compatibility limitations relating to different charging types. New phones and their batteries have fast charge and super fast charge upgrades that allow them to utilize wireless charging more...
I'm not disputeing any of the above. But 3.55s in the auto feel much snappier off the line compared to the 3.15s. Hence my recommendation. There is a reason Ford uses that ratio in the PP and DH automatics.
That also goes for the base GT manuals as they come with either 3.15s or 3.55s. I...
I truly believe that if you aren't taking the car to the track, the PP and DH cars just aren't worth it. You are essentially just paying for extra cooling on the PP and extra cooling and suspension for the DH. The suspension on the non PP GT is still excellent. Especially if you add the K and...
No one is talking about EVs. We're talking apples to apples mustang auto vs manual. And it's a valid point if you are deciding between the two.
...or on any track or road course.
Seriously, no need to get salty and argue. Theres pros and cons to both. Drive what you like and don't take...
Im glad you came back to this. The thread has predictably devolved into a manual vs auto contest where everyone feels compelled to justify their personal choice, and we've gotten away from the original topic.
Unfortunately I can't comment on the physical limits of driving a stick in your later...
He's literally trying to engage in the conversation and making valid points. Why cant you just answer basic questions and respond to the conversation instead of coming back with snarky remarks and insults? If you disagree then make your damn point. We're six pages in, and you seem more...
I will add my own experience regarding this - I came from a Tremec on my last Mustang (a 23 Mach 1). Then I test drove a manual GT S650 and was very underwhelmed by comparison. Then I drove an A10 GT S650 and was pleasantly and very surprised at how fast and fun it was.
So I would rank them in...
Magnaride isn't going to help the ride during street driving in normal mode. In fact I doubt you will even be able to tell the difference. Where Magnaride shines is in sport and track modes on the twisties or road course. 19s will handle better in all applications.
Interesting because when I showed you a picture of my wheels you said it sold you.
Not trying to argue here, but what is it about the PP you feel you need to have? If its not the wheels, then the only appeal would be the Torsen rear end and extra cooling bits. But you said you won't be tracking...
