Home from 400 miles of half interstate and half two lane. Did not hold back on the throttle on the two lane part at all and it averaged right at 25 mpg. Not bad. Better than I expected. I could have gotten better but with this kind of power, I've learned I will go ahead and pass when someone...
I just got home from a round trip of about 900 miles and played with the Track AE mode comparing it to Sport AE mode and what I know for sure is that on my car, there is a little difference in how the car responds. That settles it with me because I had all day to mess with it.
Now my car has...
The temps. Are much lower this morning so that might be interesting in how the engine reacts, or not. Havent owned the car in cool weather. Damned cell phone keyboard, LOL!
I owned a RAV4 for 4 years and it was 100% problem free, great mileage, great power, lots of room and it was a good car. It just didn't fit our needs, wants, and plans any longer so I sold it. It didn't cost us much to buy at all once we got most of our money back after 4 years. We bought it...
Stellantis just announced a recall of 91,000 Jeep Grand Cherokees over something to do with hybrid stuff.
Car makers are paying for all their electronics mistakes including the two Ford has going on Mustangs. One is supposed to have parts in the 4th quarter, the other Mustang recall is to...
I will check mine next time I'm in it with time but mine is likely set the same as yours. Nobody needs to know about my driving and I don't know what media analytics is.
I would like to drive the Blueridge Parkway, again, but the Feds. will get you if you do over 45 which is kind of ridiculous to do on such a scenic drive.
I would have to go back and verify in an earlier post but I think my average for 3700 ish miles was 20.2. Now that I've made a somewhat reasonable throttle controlled highway trip, the average climbed a bit. I'm going home tomorrow and I expect the lifetime average to go up a little more even...
My question did not relate to "driving mode" but rather "Active Exhaust Mode". Starship Enterprise and I are the only two Mustangs that have this phenomena apparently, LOL!
Take the current Mustang body/room and there won't ever be a battery for it as they currently are built/sized. The weight of it would also make it feel like driving a dump truck I would think. It's a no/go idea.
Just for clarification, I'm only talking about Active Exhaust settings, not driving mode for which the differences are very discernable. Just a little difference, but a difference in AE setting from Sport to Track.
That's impressive mileage for a 3:73 rear end. I'm leaving for home in the morning and plan to just set the cruise control and listen to music if the idiots and 18 wheelers going up hills in the inside lane will let me. Will report mpg back.
I've been riding round in my daughter's Sienna hybrid for about a week now and my SIL is not thrilled with it. No way the engine constantly on/off, on/off starting and stopping is good for it. Check out what Eric has to say about late model Prius problems on his YouTube: "I Do Cars". He has...
You didn't really miss much from the Tail of the Dragon because a GT has way too much HP to do it any kind of justice and if you putter around on it, you will find out what "in the way" really means, so not much fun. I've run it a few hundred times on sport bikes and cars since I live fairly...
