Texas here, and I am 1st at my dealer that got 3 allocations, and I got the call asking to remove HP for scheduling now. Also stated painted stripes and AP were constraints, i have neither. I declined to remove the HP.

Agreed, I have a good feeling for DH scheduling in June for August build dates. My dealer was pretty confident if I removed it, It would be August. At least they are moving, he said I would be 1st in line again when HP constraint drops.

The constraints he told me were DH specific as far as the HP, Appearance Pack, and Painted stripes.

Not unexpected, they usually do at least 1 week of no scheduling between months. Maybe August starts next week. Also, this is the week after Main Commit, which i have no clue what that is, but last time, the week after is when most of the emails went out, even though you could have found out...

That sucks, but also its only 2 business days, and hey, at least you are one of the very few Dark Horse cars with a date!! 2 days sounds like you have a pretty good chance of getting it built in June, and they are firming up their schedules.

This was my understanding as well, the second step to paint the roof black incurs time and cost, and is why it is a constraint and costs extra. Don't know for sure, but that was my understanding.

Cool stuff. Curious why you targeted 7500 rpm for DH peak HP. Was that mentioned somewhere? Also i think 7250 is peak rpm for the 486 GT with active exhaust according to the tech specs in the other thread.
