Very cool to see. This shows how badass s650's will look once you start seeing aftermarket widebody kits and wings/spoilers. Fingers crossed this engine makes its way into a gt350 of some sort.
Time will tell, if ford's experimenting with matte colors, I hope that green isn't one they decide to use. It doesn't look cool to me, it just looks like a bulllitt after being left in the sun for 25 years lol.
Pretty good product, looks good, very respectable off-road capability for what it is. Plus it has an above average reliability rating. Everything made in that mexico plant, including it and the maverick turns out to be a reliable product.
Many car designers are making 50-60k a year with 250k in student loan debt. Not sure what the salary for head designers is, probably somewhere in the 7 figure range is my guess considering Morray Callum bought a ford gt like it was nothing.
Agreed, a big issue with a lot of modern designs is it looks like designers select a theme, get halfway though designing the car, and then change their minds. There's no confidence, no consistency.
More specifically, I saw one sketch of Aiden's that was the taillights only, that green sketch that looks similar to Chris's and looks like it was trying to further develop that theme, and a sketch showing the finished design lined up next to previous gens. By comparison, Chris had dozens of...
I feel like Chris Stevens was the lead designer on this car. It seems like most of the sketches are his, including ones which lead to the final design theme. The only sketches from Aiden I saw were on things like the taillights, and final sketches that basically reflected the work Chris was doing.
Boxy is back, as are curvy designs. We're truly living in a golden age of car design where a ton of different styles are in, and consumers have more options than ever before. It's not like the 50s where all cars looked the same, 20 feet of fins, chrome, and excess. Or the 80s where everything...
The sad part is if BMW wanted to continue this trend of doing large grilles, I think taking inspiration from that, where the grille is stretched horizontally instead of vertically, and encompasses the the headlights would look a lot better. The answer is right in front of them but they're...
Oh for sure, and that line that runs along the side of the car before curving down to form a vent just behind the front wheels is quite similar to the lower line on the side of this design.
Not to mention I looks like they tried to bring back the hockey stick element by adding a horizontal line on the lower part of the door that kicks up into a vertical line that then flows into the rear haunches. Very cool and modern way to bring that element back.
I love that front end a little bit more each time I see it. It's possible the best looking front end of any mustang generation released in my lifetime.
One of my professors has one actually in yellow. Wasn't a fan of a new supra at first, but it's growing on me. Especially with a few mods. The chassis seems decent, the powertrain seems pretty reliable and tuneable. The main issue is the price. It's basically in c8 territory.
Nice work, does vapor blue resemble area 51? Or am I seeing things lol? Either way, it's a cool color. Surprised they used the same shade of silver on our explorer and not ford's newer shade, iconic silver.
I don't know what religion has to do with your car. Unless you married your car in that church, if that's the case, I'm happy for you. Just be careful on your honeymoon dog.
Pretty much, I take great joy in knowing that your legacy is whatever people think it is. Once many of these older people are in the ground, we get to burn their legacy to the ground. Can't wait.
