Iâll admit that I generally look for closer to stock vehicles, but this one drew my attention.
Particularly when youâre looking at the power band of the Coyote - GT or Dark Horse- youâre looking at caning the car hard to get good performance out of it.
So if youâre buying a new to you / used...
I donât use the parking brake mostly, but, if youâre seeing the care rock forward / backward upon start, my MDH does this as does my â17 Raptor with the 10R80. Iâd not observed that previously, and itâs far less pronounced than the Dark Horse but itâs there.
I do not hear that loud âclickâ...
I suppose I need to step up my troll game then. I know a few people on here who can help with that; Iâll reach out to them for the sage trolling tutelage.
See, right there, you just lose credibility. If you said âVette, Camaro, AMG, Porsche etc. fine. Hellcat? sure. But if there is one...
Comparing a loaded, handling package Dark Horse to a Base GT on price is a bit unfair.
I whined about replacing the Trofeos but Ford is selling you a car you can literally drive to the track, run a track day, and drive home. Of course youâd better replace those Pirellis right away because...
Iâd like to know can this be turned off completely. Because like most late model cars, you donât actually control the AC, the car does. No big deal now that Texas is just about done with the pre-heat setting, but for the 6 or so weeks of winter-ish we have, we wonât be needing the chiller at...
Yes, and yes. Respectively.
I replaced my trofeos with the pilots, and am very happy with them sticking wise and they already have outlived the factory tires!
Dark Horse Track Attack cars use the same p4s we buy off the rack at factory psi and those cars stick like mad.
theyâre predictable...
Great to read from a Track Attach brother @RKerr
Itâs Right by my Raptor Assault participation trophy!
just out of arms reach on my desk right now.
This was my first foray on to a race track in almost 25 years. Iâd previously tracked several times at Summit Point, WV. Man Iâll...
The Old Man gets it. Sometimes it takes a few years of mods to understand this. Iâm just trying to save you some frustration  Accept now that there will be more updates and modifications, and it will go easier for you and your wallet. Well... easier-ish.
Thatâs great!
I hate to do this to you, but someone has to say it:
Youâre not done.
You may think youâre done, you may type youâre done, you may even say it out loud, but there will be more more modifications and sooner than you think.
Yes, plenty of info on youtube.
the old style is so weak, I can almost turn it by hand; no tools. Once they breach physical security, most of the battle is won so do what you can to make that tougher.
I would strongly suggest that you abandon this practice. If you donât already know, the F series is one of the easiest vehicles to break into currently made. Pre â22 models without the lock cylinder shield can be broken into with a multi-tool in under 5 seconds. Once theyâre in, if your keys...
Give it time, it will go up again within probably the first year. Theyâll dazzle you with their declarations and rationale, but itâs basically because S/A does zero to combat vehicle theft, zero effort to recover stolen vehicles or any property that was stolen from vehicles. The good news is...
Yes.
I just did the 2 day course in mid May. You get 1 day courtesy of buying the Dark Horse, the 2nd day add on is a LOT of track time and it is _so_ worth it. For my class, it rained part of both days.
I was more than a bit hesitant to campaign a Mustang on track in the wet, but my last...
