  1. Window tint questions (Updated, now turned nightmare)

Same as above. Had a highly rated, local shop do my rear windows. No issues. If a shop is saying ā€œit’s too hardā€ then that means you should never do business there.
  2. Any thoughts as to whether the ‘25s will be even more “connected” and “nannied up”than the ‘24s?

Exactly, and yet it’s still enforced by municipalities all across the US. I don’t agree with it, but it happens anyway. Every traffic citation I ever wrote was my own. I signed it, I got paid overtime to show up to court, and I always swore the truth about what I witnessed. While I don’t like...
  3. Any thoughts as to whether the ‘25s will be even more “connected” and “nannied up”than the ‘24s?

Depends on where you live. In the state of Virginia, where I may or may not have lived at some point (New York enforces similar laws), passed § 46.2-882.1., Use of photo speed monitoring devices in highway work zones, school crossing zones, and high-risk intersection segments. This section...
  4. Whine or whistle after supercharger install

Does it sound like it does in this video? Specifically, starting at 9:52. Turn up the volume and listen to the rev. You can hear both the whine and a whistling type sound.
  5. This is the best I have. Hoping FMC can help a brother out! 🤣😁

The link to your attachment doesn't display anything.
  6. Rev limiter or fuel cutoff before A10 shifts

HP Tuner also has some good user guide YouTube videos on how to use it with mustangs. I’m not a tuner but I can understand the HP interface
  7. Rev limiter or fuel cutoff before A10 shifts

There is significantly more going on than just ā€œmake less power cuz it’s a GTā€. Yes, the GT is programmed to make less power but it’s also programmed to do a bunch of different things than the DH and even the S550 GT. For what it’s worth, the DH does not have the same shifting issue in any gear...
  8. Kooks LT's people who actually have them - please advise...?

I’ve had them on non S650s and they do add power. Typical gains are 15-30whp. That’s a real thing. Installed properly, with lock washers if you choose, won’t rattle. You might get rattle at the collector flange, where the headers are clasped to the mid-pipe, but that can be fixed by re-torquing...
  9. Quad Exhaust Slip-On bigger tips?

Ford has done the double wrapped, or whatever you call that weird exhaust tube within a tube, in the past. My ā€˜18 explorer sport has a similar style exhaust from factory. That said, the CJ ones look terrible with the exposed bolts. Rust and corrosion came to mind the second I saw them. Plus, I...
  10. Uneven Ride Height After Ford Performance Track Spring Install

What a crappy situation from the dealership. I always hate to hear stories like yours about botched dealer installs. On the bright side, I can barely tell a difference between your photos. I only noticed a slight difference because you said something about it. I know that doesn’t make you feel...
  11. Dark Horse vs Dark Horse Premium

I love the recaros in my DH. Personal preference, for sure, if we’re talking about only using the vehicle for street driving. The car was designed for track performance, making the recaros a smart option if you’re buying a DH Handling Pack. But since the seats are an option, who cares what you...
  12. New S650 Metal Art For Your Garage

These are really sharp looking. I like metalwork and the creative ways it allows for subtle decoration.
  13. Hi all, My first post. I purchased A new 2024 Mustang GT Premium Grabber Blue California Special off dealer lot in Toronto Canada.

The manual was removed from the Ford Pass app. I'm sure most of you are aware of that but since this thread keeps referring to the app... there is no manual in the app anymore.
  14. Front inner wheel well issues

It’s hard to know how long the kit will hold up in harsh conditions; only time will tell. Thus far, the kit has been exceptionally good for my car. I can also say that when JB weld is installed on a non-moving or non-pressurized part, it tends to hold up for many years without a problem. Since...
  15. First oil change...what a pain in the ass šŸ˜†

In order to get the rocks out of the rocker panel, you need to remove the plastic clips in the wheel liner and pull the liner away from the wheel well slightly. You don’t have to remove the entire thing. Once you can stick your hand inside the rocker panel (or at least get your hand behind the...
  16. I said I wouldn’t do it but I did!

I second this recommendation as I have both the DIYVan kit and Steeda jacking rails.
  17. Wheel to fender gap - Dark horse

This is what the GT500s had. Doesn’t sound like that’s your issue but it’s free to check from your own garage.
  18. Wheel to fender gap - Dark horse

Something is still holding the suspension up. Jack her up and check again from underneath. Ensure there aren’t any clips holding the shocks up, independently from the springs (like what was on S550 GT500s)
