if you are in the medical & scientific community, then you wholeheartedly understand skepticism, and why people don’t believe you. I’m sure it’s frustrating for things you know and accept, that others scoff at.
Like I mentioned before, more than once, nothing you present from the existing body...
Natives appear to be getting restless. We should probably pick a less controversial topic, like morning coffee vs. morning tea.
We will not find 'common ground' beyond what's been previously posted, and in the interest of brevity
Most of the evidence I can find suggest the earth is warming...
I believe your understanding is not correct. CAFE is regulation ; aka CFR based so a regulation would need to be promulgated to overturn it. This is not an executive order (well, technically, POTUS is ordering EPA to develop and promulgate a new regulation ), rather this would be a regulation...
"The science is settled" has much in common with the "No True Scotsman" fallacy.
Climate change is real
we have to do something right now (or we'll all die)
And again, over 50 years it's morphed from "the coming ice age" to "global warming" to "climate change".
The climate change is real camp...
That's because engineering largely deals with tangible, things you can see, hear, smell or touch, where reaching back hundreds of millennia is beyond the grasp of most people to understand.
So is the Shroud real, or was it made hundreds of years after Christ? What did that 100,000 year old...
I don't necessarily disagree, but science, medicine, knowledge and understanding are constantly evolving.
Did the shroud of Turin cover Jesus' body? Or was it from a later era? Probably not a fair analogy to make, but since discovery our answers on this have changed. So have our data on...
The thing is, when you ( the general you, not you specifically ) "make stuff up" using your "credentials" - in this case as a scientist, that making stuff up makes you a liar.
Being a liar is like being a c*ck sucker and like John Gotti said: "once a c***sucker, always a c***sucker"...
I haven't dealt with this personally, but a lot of Raptor owners have. Make sure the dealer you are dealing with is checking OTHER dealer inventory, not just their own AND not just local to them dealers. They need to search dealer inventory nationwide.
Open a case with Ford Customer Service...
I have the 10r80 in my '17 Raptor and the '24 Dark Horse. The programming is significantly more mature in the Dark Horse, even considering these vehicles are quite different.
I agree, it's quite a bit more advanced than Ford's previous iterations.
supporting vendors here, who are right now running a pretty damn good promotion on superchargers have generally reported the 'stage 2 whipple' level of performance as sustainable on the current gen 302. There is more in it, but I'll defer to the vendors/tuners with actual experience.
I got one back in 2018, upgrading my Raptor Stereo. I never thought I'd use a trim removal kit more than 2 times but it's come in handy at least a dozen times since. You'll definitely use the trim removal kit with FAR less collateral damage than a putty knife, screw driver or improvised flat...
How good are you with the Recaro seats? You give up memory seats, power seats, and memory mirrors and get to pay 1500 bucks more for the privilege and status of having Recaros.
Personally, I like them but I wouldn't go out of my way for them.
- do either of the potential candidates come...
It's a great time, you'll learn a lot and end up leaving impressed with what the car can do.
Honestly, I wish they would drop out the drift brake portion, trim down the skid car time and make up the balance with track time because that really drives home the point of how good the car is capable...
Wait, so not all of Texas decorates for Christmas when the Halloween decorations come down?
:-/
I'm right there with you, but my neighbors disagree, and they are already spreading the holiday freakin' cheer. The wrong one, we haven't even had Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
