Here are the Edmunds track test numbers and they are as slow as expected:
GT 0-60 in 4.8
1/4 mile in 12.7, which is decent.
Ecoboost convertible
0-60 in 5.6
1/4 mile in 14.2
here is the video:
I think those numbers are far off some speculated 3.6 or 3.9 seconds and I don't think the DH...
Well, based on what Ford "accidentally" published it is...
Besides, here is another source:

Given what Ford has done with the S650 Mustang we're safe to assume that the next GT500 will at the base be an upgraded version. Slightly more HP, a few tweaks here and there (same as S550 GT - S650 GT) and we have the new GT500... So far everything Ford has shown were incremental steps. The...
I totally agree. Havenāt watched all the reviews but some certainly tried to paint the best picture possible. Besides, it is difficult to remain absolutely independent when:
A: future invitations may depend on your (positive) conclusion and
B: you get invited and get a special treatment by a...
I have some mixed feelings:
Pros:
It seems like the RWD V8 can put its power down slightly better
Almost everything seems to be slightly better/improved compared to the S550 - regarding the exterior and the drive train
Sync 4 seems to work somewhat fast and responsive most of the time
US...
I have some serious doubts hereā¦
First off, why is everyone saying there are 3 people in the car? Doesnāt the screen indicate itās ājustā 2 and the driver hasnāt got his seatbelt on? Does he say at any time that there are three people in the car?
Second, 3.9 is the time recorded by Fords own...
The B&O System in the S550 is the worst "upgraded" system I've ever heard. B&O usually makes decent systems ā theyāre somewhat on the more expensive side of things but for home systems they offer quite good stuff.
In the S550 however they just delivered the name. Garbage system and something I...

In this article Mark Rushbrook, head of Ford Performance, talks about selling 30-50 GT3 cars easily. Since the GT3 car doesn't need to have a street legal counterpart I doubt that we'll see any 5.4L Mustangs any time soon...
True, 100-200 tells you more about the real power of the car but 0-100 gives you ābragging rightsā ;)
Outside of Germany no one can legally drive anything close to 200 so the absolute vast majority of people can only do 0-100 legally. So 0-100 (or better 30-120 or something) is something people...
It looks absolutely cool.
However, these tests should be made before the sheet metal is finalized⦠At this point only fine-tuning is possible (angle of the rear wing and so on).
There are similarities between those two cars. Not denying that. However, the S650 doesn't look like a Camaro or an Aston Martin... From time to time some design choices may coincidence as there is only a limited amount of styles than can be used on a 2+2 coupe with a big engine under the...
Or these people can see some similarities but are old enough to identify two separate cars from two different manufacturers from each other. As mentioned several times before the cars have to be similar as their āclassā is quite limiting in terms of design⦠Just look at Aston Martin⦠Some of...
"based" means something like the block uses the same materials?
5.4L is as Coyote based as the the Voodoo and the Predator engines were... I'm sure they use this marketing bla bla for their homogenization...
There are several options if you don't mind buying a 4 or 6 cylinder car. Quite frankly almost all other options are either faster, cheaper, have superior built quality or something of everything.
The Camaro is most likely still faster, if not it's at least a hell lot cheaper.
The new BMW M2 is...
I don't know why we need another threat for this but those two cars look totally different. Yes, both are two door coupes, which limits design options but apart from that these cars don't look alike.
Every German manufacturer advertises whp as they should. Only the Americans put out these pathetic crank numbers for marketing... The S550 Coyote really is a 410-420hp car. The DH will be a ~460hp car, at best. "Some 500hp, 100hp per liter" my a$$.
I as a customer feel betrayed as I was promised...
I hope not but I also assume that that isn't an issue. I mostly wear polarized sunglasses and they "only" interfere with my HUD. The regular screen is perfectly visible.
