  1. 5 Reasons Why The Base Mustang GT Is Better Than The Darkhorse!

This takes me back some. I've been on car/bike forums for years and they always have a periodic blow up, and I was was as bad as anyone else. Then I got onto facebook to keep in touch with people while overseas, and got into the whole argueing with strangers nonsense. Then, one day I realised...
  2. 5 Reasons Why The Base Mustang GT Is Better Than The Darkhorse!

Personally, I buy as many toys on a car as I can afford. I just like stuff. Like big brakes, sporty exhaust, etc. But if there was a DH on the showroom floor, I don't think I could have resisted
  3. First mustang and it’s nothing but problems

Not into wooden paddles, leather is the thing
  4. First mustang and it’s nothing but problems

I sometimes envy you guys in the States. No deals like that here. But I was impressed that taking exchange rate into account my GT PP is a bit cheaper than over there. Don't know how Ford NZ swung that.
  5. First mustang and it’s nothing but problems

It can be expensive to wait a year. And, it's what warranties are for
  6. Tire size "help"

Exactly what I was thinking. Steering response is still pretty damn good with 40's
  7. First mustang and it’s nothing but problems

    Terribly Variable Reliability.
  8. Coyote In The Heat

OK, I was also thinking of the old mechanics tale of cars running better in fog. They sure felt peppier.
  9. Tire size "help"

Having had 245/35-20 on another car, I'm concerned that going to a 30 or 35% sidewall would be too harsh. The non magneride susp is borderline now for use around town. We don't have the smoothest roads in the world. What thoughts?
  10. What should i do?

I only use Mobil or Castrol full synth long life in all our cars. And, seeing we've sold two to friends I know I've done my best by them.
  11. Disable Paddle Shifters

Jeez, you must have long fingers.
  12. No Spare Tire

The inflater/sealer kit in our rental Peugeot was crap. Now I carry my bike sealer kit in the car. It's got what is known as dog turds that you coat in sealer and insert into the puncture with the applicator tool. It also has CO2 cartridges, but they are for bike tyres you'd need a few for a...
  13. What music do you like to blast while driving your Mustang?

Literally anything. Stuff from the 60's through to the 2000's. Rock, pop, progressive, folk, a tiny bit of country, a tinier bit of rap crap (Linkin park, Eminem), classic Italian pop. I'm a music slut. BTW Why the hell does Spotify select half a dozen songs on a playlist of hundreds and keep...
  14. What are your thoughts on the interior of the S650? Specifically the screens

You've got clam? Has your wife seen it? How do you get it?
  15. First mustang and it’s nothing but problems

I think it was true back in the day, and Monday/Friday cars.
  16. Coyote In The Heat

I always thought humidity was a power increaser. Denser air, increased mixture cooling from the water in the same way water injection works.
  17. Coyote In The Heat

Well maybe a chunk of it, not 51% I wouldn't think.
  18. What Radar Detecter Do You Use?

You can run TMG with JBV1 for jamming needs. I can't vouch for the system personally, but many JBV1 users run it. And we're very spoilt and picky with CM's
