so, i may have been wrong on the "DH splitter does not fit the GT/EB" thing, i noticed something when looking at the workshop manual diagrams
the DH splitter is held on with 2 bolts, 4 push pins, and 8 little clips
the GT/EB splitter is held on with 6 bolts, 4 push pins, and 6 little clips...
correct, the mounting is different, mainly due to how the GTPP comes to the dealer attached, where the DH does not
edit: i looked at Ford's diagrams again, and i may have actually been wrong this whole time. it looks like you just might be able to put a DH splitter on a GT/EB
your friend has absolutely no idea what they're talking about. Magnuson-Moss warranty act requires automakers to honor the factory warranties unless modifications caused the damage/failure. you are also at the mercy of the dealer, as some are more lenient on what would be warranty, but they can...
it generally depends on management, but something like that could be true and the tech has to pay out of pocket, or the place just internals the RO for it as a loss. it looks like the retail cost for a new tail light could be ~$1200
yeah, that's no good. even if they don't have the part on hand, the correct thing to do with transport damage that isn't fixed is to ask the customer if they want it fixed, and if so order the part and contact the customer when it gets in. in terms of availability for that part, it looks like...
i say wait for the 2024 Borla. the accessories guy at my dealer got an pre-production ATAK kit (might be one of the Ford Performance kits, the exhaust tips have the Ford logo) for a SEMA build, and while it's a bit loud for my tastes, the tone is really good and different from the raspiness of...
the 2 biggest hurtles are getting the car on the train, and getting it off the train. mine was 2 weeks from "shipped" to delivery at the dealer. most of that time was sitting either in a yard in Michigan or El Mirage. was the longest 2 weeks of my life. some other stuff that could cause delays...
if your dealer outright refused to fix transport damage, please please please contact the Ford customer support line. something like that could get Ford's attention and something could be done to help you, or at least help others if that same dealer does it again
yeah, it's about the size of the GT Performance Pack splitter, just not textured and gloss black. unfortunately, the Dark Horse splitters are out of the options because of different mounting for them
if you contact Whipple, ask them to ask Ford when they are going to make the 220mph speedometer work properly. it's in there but just broken. it breaks when you set it to km/h and the needle acts like a 140mph speedometer. you would change that one part of 720-11-01 to 7 instead of 6 to get it
if they are motion sensing, Rotunda makes no mention of it except on the part MR3Z-15K601-BB where it mentions a motion sensing and jamming feature. someone would have to do some testing to find out if there is motion sensing
that thing is absolutely stunning in actual lighting and not the nonsense blue/purple/whatever Ford puts on their shows. im willing to bet that getting parts for this is going to be just like the 2017-23 Ford GT. proof the vehicle is in the shop, proof of ownership/registration, and all that. a...
the location tracking is only able to be done by people with the vehicle on their FordPass. AFAIK, nobody else can track location.
it's not just iPhones, Android devices check to see if an AirTag has been following you for an extended period and if so send a notification. Rare instance of Apple...
