  1. Dark Horse hp vs GT hp

@swamprat7953 ..... the usual changes are crankshaft (blueprinted/balanced) cams (thanks for the note @robvas) more aggressive, more durable rods, timing and RPM. These the DH has over the GT. That is why I would feel comfortable supercharging a DH but not so much a GT as the GTs rods (IMO) are...
  2. Ford is cutting costs on the 2025+ Mustang

Where I live retired vets are struggling. Those still serving who have families (below Officer rank) are likely on food stamps. The federal government is forgiving student loans and putting illegal immigrants in really nice hotel rooms with all kinds of goodies for the families. Laid off blue...
  3. GT Convertible Autobahn Run

@smurfslayer ..... turtles in the left lane on the a-bahn? That's what your hi beams are for....at least the last time I drove it.
  4. Tentbox on Dark Horse

@Farmer Fran and @onaccountof (too right!) ..... I lived in Europe for 4 years. They put roof top carriers on everything. I wish I had pictures of some of the $hit I saw - just unbelievable until you see it. Where I live, if you got caught with a roof top carrier on a GT yet alone a DH you'd be...
  5. Screen Brightness

@justinmiles ..... I own a 2024 GT Premium Convertible - on the lower left side of my dash (to the left of the steering wheel) by the rotary knob that controls the exterior lights (driving ect.) I can use a switch to to increase/decrease brightness. Doing so affects both the instrument gauge...
  6. Insane price for 24 gt

A lot of great financial advice on a car forum. Hope you all are passing that on to your kids and grand kids - it will make their lives a whole lot better. My grand dad did that for me, taught me banking and investing at every Sunday dinner for several hours from the time I was 10 to 14. I could...
  7. Is the extended warranty worth it?

@akawease ..... it's really a crap shoot. You already have three years of Ford comprehensive and 5 years of powertrain warranty. If it's going to happed it will likely happen in that time. Plus are you financing the car and adding that warranty to the cost? If so that warranty starts to become...
  8. Getting squirrely?

@akawease ..... great advice from forum members, use it and you'll be fine. On most of "that guy" Mustang fail videos from coffee and cars meets were guys turning out from the parking lots and hammering it at the same time, so naturally their cars shot all over the place when they lost control.
  9. Sort of a challenge.

@Alan Applegate ..... agreed. My wife (aka the boss) made an amazing cover from 3 king sized 600 thread count Egyptian cotton bed sheets for its summer cover. The GT is garage kept but the summer cover keeps all the dust of the top (convertible). The first version did not have a corresponding...
  10. Cold start idle down “chirping” 30 to 60 seconds , then goes away .

@Petes24Gt ..... yes, mine does exactly the same thing. I'll see if I can post a video. Took it to two techs I trust and both said it was nothing to worry about. One said maybe a belt that squeaked a bit on start up. It sounds louder if I'm in the garage. Goes away as soon as revs drop, then I...
  11. Aftermarket OEM Active Exhaust

@TcarterGT2024 ..... thank you for the reply. Did you already have the active exhaust feature on your Mustang or does your new Corsa exhaust require its own valves, actuators, wiring and controls/remote fobs
  12. Aftermarket OEM Active Exhaust

@TcarterGT2024 ..... which Corsa system did you buy? I really like Corsa, I installed a number of Corsa switchable exhausts for go-fasts. They called the system captain's call.
  13. Aftermarket OEM Active Exhaust

@Diodict ..... yes, wouldn't want to re-program the ecu either. I have looked at the options from lethal performance and corsa which usually involve an air actuator system or a high amp solenoid system. Do you have a parts list of what you purchased from Ali Express? Did you remove the resonator...
  14. Low Coolant = cause for concern?

@ListedGuru ..... sometimes the systems burp a little air from either the main cooling system or the auxiliary cabin heater lines and you have this result. As @Rocket said - top it off when cool to the proper mark and keep an eye on it. I bet you're fine. Do run your cabin heater if you haven't...
  15. Oil consumption

@OnlyNonScout ..... engine oil consumption of that amount is not normal unless you are really beating the $hit out of it which I doubt. I assume you checked your oil level after the last fill. I recently had an oil fill that was down a quart. I pre-purchase the oil from the Ford dealer's parts...
  16. Aftermarket OEM Active Exhaust

@Diodict ..... I got A 2024 GT las February too. It did not have active exhaust. Did you find out if your 2024 was pre-wired for active exhaust and did you install an oem one or an aftermarket one?
  17. Molten Magenta Metallic S650 Mustang DELIVERED!

@Zuko ..... yes, love the color. You will love the convertible and get a lot of compliments on the space gray seat trim. I have a 2024 GT Vapor Blue Metallic Premium (new color for 2024) 'vert with the space gray seat trim but not the active exhaust (wish I had that). The fun begins.
  18. K&N intake for 2024 Ecoboost

@Slothman .... if that number is correct that would be nice. Respectfully, if you haven't had a K&N before they do take "proper" maintenance or they are worse than oem.
  19. GT Convertible Autobahn Run

@Alan Applegate ..... agree with all of your points. great video too. That guy has ball$ ..... you are only young once but at that speed without a roll cage and personal safety gear he blows a tire - anything - and he is dead.
  20. If I was to sell/trade my 60th anniversary Brittany Blue could I make money on it?

I missed the section where the op had medical bills I apologize. I thought it was just a plan to make money by flipping the car. :-(
