forgive me for not knowing, but what is the point of doing the oil pump gears? Ford has used cast ones even in the 2020-22 GT500, and i always personally found that "drop test" 100% useless, because at what point is your OPG being dropped while in the engine?
My dealer got another one in grabber blue, 10 speed, handling package, painted stripes, blue brakes, grabber blue, no appearance package, 600A, Recaros. Chassis R7411. Unknown if sold or owned
honestly surprised the stage 2 got CARB certified. i was so sure that stage 1 would be the only one to pass. glad to hear the Mustang owners in CA can have some supercharger fun, and legally
it might be a worthwhile investment to get a decent low profile jack and a 1/2" electric impact with a 21mm thin wall impact socket. if you get a good impact, it should be able to take the lugs off and let you remove your wheels at home either to switch them out for summer/winter or do a...
this is totally aside from your point, but if you see a dealer marking up a new non-ford Shelby vehicle, let Shelby North America know. they have no patience for that and will probably either threaten to our outright terminate their contract with that dealer. Shelby explicitly states that their...
here in AZ you get a neat little deal for trading in. the tax is essentially from the view of new vehicle price minus trade in value. so, if you buy a $60k vehicle, but trade something in for $35k, you will only have to pay the tax of the remaining $25k. i dunno if this is a standard thing...
i've heard some co-workers say that they can. its possible they meant that Ford will add a flag to the VIN about the warranty, though
i mean the ones whose desks are in the showroom, they tend to be more unpleasant to work with than the ones who are in the internet sales office or similar...
i just wanted to share some information about Ford from the perspective of someone who works in service and was a service advisor for a little bit
Everyone but sales hates the mark-ups too
trust me when i say that basically everyone else in the dealership aside from the people in sales hates...
looks like about 160mph is where it taps out? wonder if that is also true for the US version? i thought i read somewhere that the limiter on the Dark Horse is 168mph
i have no room to move with the offset. i cant go more negative because then it pokes more, and i cant go more positive because i am already as close to the shocks as i wish to be, and my alignment is basically perfect for my mix of autocross and daily driving. my only options are to either run...
well, thats not good. my slightly too large rear tires that have been rubbing have also been flaring out my rear fenders, and now the paint is beginning to crack slightly
i'm only 24, but would still prefer a row of physical climate control buttons. dont get me wrong, i like how the animations and stuff look in the screen, and it de-clutters the center stack with the ever increasing amount of controls in the modern day. i think something like they do in the 2024...
Ford seems to really know how important the "max defrost" button is. even on the 2025 Explorer, where there is no hard max defrost button, even when the infotainment system is still starting, there is a "max defrost" icon at the bottom center of the screen that can be used to turn that on. might...
you're probably on to something, i have a habit of over-estimating what i can actually do. i was looking at the whole set of parts. 2 air filter to MAF tubes and 2 MAF to throttle body tubes. i will agree that it's not bad materials for the price of the JLT, though. they're pricing it at $450...
