  1. 2025 GT — 12,000 Mile Review

I thought I was fanatical about my cars. But I bow to your masters level OCD. We also have a mild climate. But we do see a lot of showery weather so the second car gets a lot of use around town in winter and spring
  2. What is everyone using to clean your screen?

I'm in the microfibre cloth camp. But I save a high quality, super soft cloth just for the screen. Optical cleaning cloths are also great, but a bit small.
  3. New Motor

I think single use means the bores are not machinable due to the coating that's used. I may be wrong. I'm not familiar with lemon laws, but common sense tells me they would not cover the failure of a third party component such as a spark plug. Which, BTW, is something I have never seen. Although...
  4. Manual 6 speed 10-1200 miles grinding 2nd 3rd shift

Incorrectly adjusted clutch pedal/throwout can cause synchro clash when shifting. Activate the warranty.
  5. Odd things I have noticed

I'm with you 100%. I was just thinking that this car is therapeutic in a similar way that riding a bike is. It's not as intensely focussed but it makes you feel good. It's like a automotive sauna of wellbeing. Now that I've written that the bitch will breakdown🤞
  6. Odd things I have noticed

What about failing to dip headlights....Officer?
  7. Low dust brake pads who’s using them?

Great. I won't get them right now. But will be in touch soon.
  8. Low dust brake pads who’s using them?

    Do you guys ship overseas?
  9. How Accurate are the Track App Times

IIRC Timers like Dragy have a more accurate GPS and faster refresh rate than a phone app, which makes them more accurate. The comparison will be interesting
  10. 2025 GT — 12,000 Mile Review

A long way in the future from that.
  11. Hold Steering Wheel warning when not using cruise control or lane centering

The reason I asked that is that 1st week out of Traffic Cop school I was doubled up with one of the old hands, and he asked the same question. I said yes. He said, "who are you indicating to?" That example of common sense struck home. Why book someone when there is just a technical offence?
  12. Sunglass holder in overhead console - issues

I've used mine a lot, it's still fine.
  13. Auto StartStop

I think you're overlooking oil film strength. One of the big advances in oil technology. It allowed the use of thinner, more fuel efficient oils, and reduces wear on cold starts. I do agree though, that ASS is the devils work.
  14. What's going on with Vapor Blue colour?? Some doubts about the true tone

Vapour Blue would have been my choice, but I took Grabber Blue as it was the only colour available. I don't regret it now. Like them both.
  15. I’m keeping my 2025 Mustang GT Stock -

I couldn't agree more. I think the same, with the exception that I'll fit good quality shocks when replacement time comes
  16. Didn't know where to post this.

Apologies in advance if I'm using incorrect terms. I'm just a dumb Kiwi. A Native American Chief has three wives. They are have all given birth, one conceived on a hippopotamus hide, the others on bison hides. The first one has twins, the others one each. What this means is; The squaw on the...
  17. Underhood "Ford Performance" Engine Dress Up Kit

That does look great. But I think I'd go for a contrast.
  18. Expect more order delays!! Fire at major aluminum supplier

Thank God it wasn't an aluminium plant. 😁
  19. Oil Change....what?

I don't know if it's a general Ford thing, but my dealer did a free "peace of mind" checkover at 2000-3000kms. They would have done an oil and filter change for me, but I wanted to get under the car and have a look around. And save labour charges.
  20. Underhood "Ford Performance" Engine Dress Up Kit

Those intake runners would look superb in red wrinkle finish and no mounting holes. Or satin chrome.
