Up-Date: having had the Corsa clear top air box covers on for a few weeks has shown me an added benefit - I can easily see when dust/pollen is building-up inside the air boxes and therefore in the AFE filters. It takes me about 15 minutes to open both covers and vacuum them and the filters. just...
@AZ_Ryan et. al. ....... what he said - my dealer is still trying to get me the sills. Aparently there is a dispute occurring and delaying even when ( he wisely) requested the sills as a part replacement. Perfect - now parts are a problem.
@Stanzzi...... agreed lighted sills deleted to save profit margins BUT what a STUPID way to do it. I would gladly have paid $400.00 or more to have it as an option. Ford still has the harness installed in my 2026GT (like it was in my 2024 GT) all they had to do was add the sills and program...
@robvas ..... that would make me insane but I blame the genetics. A grandfather whose company did repairs on super heavy equipment. Who personally knew Penske when he took over Caterpillar and brought to heel all the rogue caterpillar dealers who were screwing with the turbos and blowing the...
@Stizzy24 ...... for God's sake man, use your warranty! So far you've done everything right - pictures and notes! So keep going! BTW if anyone but a Ford dealer does the replacement and uses anything but Ford OEM parts you could actually harm your warranty. We all pay for the warranties...
I keep an eye on head, oil and trans temps. Normal can vary a bit with options. I believe I saw "normal" range in my 2024 GT manual. I have not looked at any up-dates for my 2026 GT. You can find the manuals easy online.
@Whoznex ..... great post. Question: when you find code line 726-37-02 do you click on restore or write to activate the code? BTW I ordered two, was called into the dealer to pick them up. Paid for them while a parts guy went to the back to get them. He came back without them and said he...
I'd select a color, first based on any accessories, as has been said. Carmine red seats red brembos. Black seats then red or blue depending on your preference - my 2 cents I kinda like red.
I must be having a stroke. Really? Are we back on this topoic so soon. How many times has this been discussed , even in the last year? This should be a mandatory question to be allowed to join this forum. There are three answers to this question. 1. You have a decent powertrain warranty and Ford...
@RobBlock09 ..... that's good news and exactly what a warranty is for and kudos to Ford for doing it right. A friends transmission was problematic in his new, very expensive, pick-up (not a Ford) and the company just rebuilt it. Granted, maybe a different problem, but still I'd much rather have...
No transmission is bullet proof (unless you get RSA to build you one) and we all know how Mustangs get driven. GM and Ford co-designed the transmission and it has been phenominal in the Camaros and Mustangs considering what these cars were meant for and how they are (sometines lol) driven. BTW...
@RobBlock09 ...... you're under warranty BUT get it to a dealer immediately as you will get little if any support if you keep driving it and as we all know every movement and time is available to the manufacturers of all vehicles. Be smart and you're covered.
@armyGT ..... I think you will be okay. My guess is that the tender dropped the voltage enough and maybe repeatedly to affect some programming. You may need a hard re-start - but before you do that call your dealer for advice. Good luck.
