gotta be honest, im not a fan. from what i can tell, it lacks the details that a FoMoCo key would have, and seems more like a flat image. it also doesnt have the shiny black around the edge.
it also looks like its made by 3d printing. i dont know what material specifically, but the finish tells...
actually, i just checked, and vehicles without memory seats actually do have DDM and PDM modules. i checked this using a 100A EcoBoost and a 700A Dark Horse with recaros. though, your point about it being wired directly to the BCM is true still
thank you for pointing out my mistake. it might then be a matter of plugging it in, and if it doesnt work, exploring the BCM tab of the spreadsheet for possible solutions
in both the DDM and PDM (driver door module and passenger door module), you will need to change these values. both modules should be the exact same, so dont worry about the lack of a "PDM" tab in the spreadsheet
i personally dont recommend putting headers on for a few reasons:
1. the aftermarket cats are not as good at actually converting exhaust gasses.
2. the aftermarket cats are weaker than the factory ones.
3. with a Corsa Extreme exhaust installed, headers are going to make it even louder. there is...
i cant say for 100% sure, but the evidence of wiring diagrams and some posts on other forums from the previous gen certainly imply that it will work. just be sure to enable the indicators in the DDM and PDM
the first diagram is a layout of the connections to the mirrors on an NA Mustang. importantly, the caption says "without memory", but the diagram still shows the indicator. however, this specific diagram mainly highlights the wiring for the power adjustable mirrors for vehicles without the...
after doing some looking, i have 2 choices. either buy the overseas harness and modify it with the connector and wires for memory seats, or keep the NA harness and modify 4 wires. my only possibly issue is that on the NA models, there is a special ground for BLIS, so i dont know if sending that...
that is very confusing. i dont know why its listed like that. ecat makes no mention of any of that, and the diagram clearly shows no signal on it
what you found there is really odd. im not sure if that is an engineering number, because the prefix is correct for an engineering number, but the...
at the risk of throwing stones from my glass house, i agree
is it bad that i dont actually hate that idea? a performance hybrid hatchback with the styling of the current Prius sounds like it would be pretty neat
same here, my paint has been great
you might want to take that to your dealer and...
there are actually 5 different wiring harnesses per door
left door:
PR3Z-14631-DA power, heated, memory, puddle lamps, blis, indicator (401A, 201A, 700A)
PR3Z-14631-EA power, blis, less interior light group, 6 speaker (really basic spec)
PR3Z-14631-FA just says "power door lock double locking"...
Wheels
so, wheels have 3 important dimensions to them. diameter, width, and offset.
diameter is obvious, the diameter of the wheel in inches.
width is the distance between the outer edges of the bead seat, which is where the bead of the tire sits, and is usually also in inches.
offset is how...
i dont get it either. mine has ~22.5k miles and it has not been easy mode. sometimes i use the paddle shifters and get the oil temp to 230 or 240 and the car does high idle to get more through the heat exchanger. other times i do go easy and it may not leave normal mode all day. with the...
whoever you are buying parts from, they're really having their way with you. the most expensive steering wheel Ford has for the Mustang is for the California Special with auto transmission, heated steering wheel, and CoPilot 360+, being $1041.62 retail with no core charge. Ford Performance has...
here's some part numbers
Dark Horse right interior door handle: PR3Z-6322600-CA
Dark Horse left interior door handle (no memory): PR3Z-6322601-CB
Dark Horse left grab handle: PR3Z-6322635-BA
Dark Horse right grab handle: PR3Z-6322634-BA
everything seems to be correct
most modern vehicles dont actually have a TCM unless its a dual clutch or something else unique. the transmission is controlled by the PCM. also, i only found one thing by Ford about the IPC screen going blank, being recall "24C35 - Black Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Screen". if you PM me your...
thats how i drive mine. 50 miles round trip, 5 days a week, every week for the past 16 months. plus the once a month autocross and other fun drives i do
