What platform do they have to use for this?
a 400hp, sub-3500lb AWD hatch might be cool
Give it a higher revving engine than what they use now and forged pistons and rods so it can be turned up past 500 and still hold together
Then do a longer wheel base RWD model for the next gen Mustang?
Lets not forget how slow those 2000 GTs were...Camaro was faster in 1993, the 1998 and up Camaro would out a bus on one.
the V6 pony cars in the late 90's and early 2000's made as much HP as the previous V8's but they still sucked.
The Mustang GT is already too expensive
the e-ray Corvette is $38,000 more than the regular C8
even if $10,000 of that is not related to the electric motor, that's still like $28,000 to add to the Mustangs price. No thanks.
That would be reserved for a $100k high end model like a Cobra Horse...
