If I had the SC money, that'd be a tough decision. But, as you say, you've made yours. You want a manual, and 500 ponies is enough. Spend the difference on road trips.
That's tough. Our cops ignore noise because all the usual suspects put a stock exhaust on, get a certificate of compliance from a testing station, then put the straight pipes back on and most of our cops are too lazy to question the certificates authenticity.
Our house sounds like it's near an...
I had an AWD with launch and "only" 300hp. Launch was vicious and it would run my GT very close if not beat it to 100kmh. After that it would be eating dust.
But, who can realistically use launch on public roads? It's noisy and attracts the wrong kind of attention, and will cancel launch if held...
At first I thought this was about self parking.
But I never let any old or young muppet drive my car. I hate the idea of dealer Techs loose in it too.
If anyone's going to ding it, it'll be me.
Mine took a while to fully bed in. I wouldn't call it mushy, more like lacking a little bite.
Much better after 1000kms or so. Fantastic brakes though.
I should have done a proper brake break in from new.
It never used to be the case, but anyone with a Youtube account is an expert now.
Journalists are just as bad. Great entertainment for people who know.
One example. The guy in "Normal guy, Supercar" changed leaking wheel bearing seals on his trailer. Didn't clean out the leaked grease. It was...
There's no doubt BMW have made great cars. But they've dropped the ball on looks
and reliability in some engine models.
And, here in NZ, they're so common. Lots of tired Jap imports have come in.
I use an Aussie product called CT18. I spray it on wheels and bug splat, leave it a few minutes and waterblast off very gently. Then I wash as per normal.
They couldn't pick up on the miss? Where have the petrolheads all gone?
Which reminds me, there's a ton of entertainment in watching Youtube "experts" trying to find a miss.
Expert = X is the unknown factor, spurt is a big drip.
