in my opinion: cut your losses. return the parts if you can. not only is the pinning different, but there appears to be different wires entirely going to the different parking brake connectors. unless you want to hack together a half-working solution or swap out the dash wiring harness, its not...
i have no objection to it either. my main reason for saying "why boost gauge" is because one already exists; more of a criticism of the article itself and the example used than the product or your post. i could see it being used for something like charge air temp (no gauge for it) and actual oil...
i get wanting to have a gauge there, but why use a boost gauge? with some small changes in FORScan you can have a boost gauge on your dash and in the auxiliary gauge display. still a nice product for those who want a gauge there, though
i ended up buying that one. apparently it comes with a free 256GB card at the moment, and that will last me until i can get an external SSD setup done, which i am glad it supports
probably not, my A229 Pro kept weakening microsd cards to the point where it wouldnt record. probably will not be getting another Viofo unless it has built-in memory
i had enough on my way home from work today. i couldnt stand seeing that $330 camera flopping around like damp toast. i took out some pliers and broke the JB weld. i am returning this camera for sure and getting my money back, or at least putting it towards a better camera. thankfully i kept the...
after doing some reading and some information from @Mikepol2, OP, you may not be able to change your diff ratio until the Mustang ProCal kits come out at the soonest. it looks like it may be the BCM, ABS, and PCM that all need the ratio to do their things. BCM to do speedometer calculations...
ah, i knew it wasnt quite easy for the average person, but i didnt realize just how much of an in-depth process it is. taking a look at the workshop manual, there's all sorts of other stuff i didnt even know about, like backlash and spacers, and all that. surprising that two dealers said no...
any shop should be able to do a ring gear and pinion easily. keep in mind you will need to go into the BCM with FORScan and tell it the new gear ratio in order for your speedometer to be accurate.
everything i said above is wrong
turns out, doing a ring gear and pinion is surprisingly difficult...
the cupholder trim is deceptively expensive and requires removing the center console. it sounds a lot hard than it is, though. just take off the two side panels from the front, take out four 7mm bolts, pop off the drift brake surround if you have that, and the entire center console pops off. my...
